"Beautiful view of autumn leaves, but the coffee tastes like dishwater. Why does the Met management tolerate this, when so many museums around the world manage to have perfectly good cafés?"
"Nice view of Central Park. Pretty cafe with pleasant surroundings. Located in one of my favorite art museums. Good coffee. Good customer service. Can't be beat. Highly recommend the pastries for picky eaters who want a fancy treat, especially the berry scone."
"If you love The Metropolitan Museum of Art, having a drink, dinner or dessert at The Petrie Court Cafe, with views of Central Park, is a memorable experience. If you happen to be there when Michael Hashim is playing with his band, you will not want to leave. He is playing again on Saturday night, 01/21/2023, from 6PM to 8:30PM. #michaelhashim #themetropolitanmuseumofart #petriecourtcafe #nyc"
"Decided to try this place out since it’s situated nicely inside the MET. Definitely wouldn’t come back here again since the food is mediocre at best and on the pricey side. The salmon had almost no taste and was lukewarm. The only reason why I’m giving this place two stars is because the waiter was pretty attentive and took our order promptly. There’s much better places to eat at around this area, save your time."
"Rather than pop out for food we thought we'd give the Petrie Court restaurant a go as we've eaten in two of the other restaurants at the Met. The food was only okay though and nothing to write home about. The salmon I had was rather dry. Our waiter was very nice and the service was fast though. The setting is nice."
