"Heard about a new Vietnamese restaurant opening in the Bronx and wanted to give it a go. It's a mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant inside a Pizzeria. Don't let the appearance fool you. This mom and pop Vietnamese brings me back to my childhood. Grandmas Pho. It's a pizzeria so not ideal for an exotic date. This is more for quick bites or dinner with few buddies as seating fits no more than 5 to a table. Great for kids. Service is kind and humble as it's a small family owned business. Now to the food. Had the spring rolls. Filling and big, the sauce was perfect. The summer rolls were big fat and their peanut dip is not too sweet. The pho was great. Huge portions, lots of cuts of proteins, guaranteed a value at $13. Topped it off with sugarcane drink and coffee. Bathrooms are clean as well. This is a great addition to the Bronx community. Thank you for having me VPho!!! Can't wait to come back!"
"I went in today to get Vietnamese food. I asked for a ban mi with chicken because I don’t eat pork. The chicken was sauced dark meat, and didn’t look that fresh, I really would have preferred sliced or shredded white meat. I also had the summer Rolls with shrimp, they were excellent and freshly made before my eyes. The staff was really friendly, and they were open from 8 AM on a Sunday, which was interesting. I really have high hopes for this place. With some work, the food can get to an A+ level."
"So excited about this new Vietnamese restaurant with authentic flavors! No asian fusion here! Summer roll- wrapper was nicely chewy (as it should be,) veggies and shrimp were fresh. Peanut sauce good. Spring rolls- golden, brown, and delicious. Paired perfectly with the nuoc cham dipping sauce. Pho- solid broth. Brisket was a little fatty but flavorful. Beef meatballs were large. I had requested no tripe but it was included anyway— no big deal, I’ll just give it to my mom who loves that stuff. Vermicelli w grilled beef- my Vietnamese husband liked it so much he ordered it 2 weekends in a row. Enough said. Customer service- these people are lovely. Please treat them with respect. We need this Vietnamese restaurant to stick around for a long time. This is legitimate good eats and we don’t have to go to Queens or Manhattan anymore."
"I was excited to know that there was a pho shop on this side of the Bronx however that didn’t last long. Food tasted decent enough but they need to learn what is on their menu. I ordered P1 and was given P3 instead. I also order crispy shrimp roll but was given regular fried egg rolls even after verifying if it was the correct order. She blatantly lied to me saying “yeah…yeah it has shrimp in it”. We were not even offered water and no plates. Service left much to be desired. They currently have two servers that are not trained in handling restaurant styled food service while the owner sits in her corner watching Vietnamese music videos. She doesn’t even bother to help knowing that they are unfamiliar with table side service. This restaurant looks like a mesh mash of two different ideas that is not working out maybe they should focus on one and get it right first. They would need to fix how things are managed first before I would even decide to go back."
"Vpho&pizzia restaurant great location. I believe this is a second pho spot I know in the Bronx. I had the pho noodle was good. No need to drive to Manhattan and queens for Vietnamese food."
