"Disappointed: Japanese place and ordered chicken curry, but wasn't the thick brown stewed curry you expect from Japan. It was a stir fry of thin yellow curry, like Singapore mai fun. Other than that, it was pretty good, a lot of chicken, like a whole breast worth, and the mix of veggies tasted fresh. Came with side of rice and miso. Got lunch price so it was little cheaper, but full dinner price seems kinda high."
"I recently dined at Asian Tokyo and had a fantastic experience. Food - it was absolutely delicious! The menu offered a wide variety of Asian cuisine, from sushi and sashimi to noodles and stir-fry dishes. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi was some of the best I've had in a long time, with a perfect balance of fish and rice. The noodle dishes were also outstanding, with each ingredient."
"This will be my last order from Asian Tokyo after many years of loyalty. I just received my food through Uber Eats, but conveniently there's no option to review the food in the app. The lunch sashimi is as expected, but the other items are a joke for the price and based on my prior experience with their food. The spicy tuna gyoza was TINY and not as described...there are 4 pieces that look like half a fried wonton each containing less than a teaspoon of tuna. It's supposed to come with jalapeño guacamole per the menu, but instead there's about a teaspoon worth of smashed avocado with no seasoning. This costs $11! The Tom Yum Goong soup has 2 shrimp and no mushrooms at $7.50. The tiny miso soup that comes with the sashimi is half full. For those who aren't familiar with miso soup it's a clear broth without meat or vegetables. I can understand that everyone raised prices to account for higher priced ingredients. But the quality and consistency with menu descriptions are separate issues that I'm not willing to sacrifice on while I pay double. The ratings of this place are high because of the great quality they USED TO deliver. Buyer beware."
"This sushi joint should not use the word Tokyo to name itself as an ambassador of the Japanese cuisine is an offense to their traditions. the sushi is of poor quality and bad presented, i ordered a rainbow roll and 2 hand roils to go i was charged 30+ dollars and i give 5 of tips terrible done even the rice was bad very little wasabi and 2 peace's of ginger all squeezed in a very small container. I was so upset that that i Trow it in the garbage, and i ordered a pizza from cross street. Well, I hope the health department shut them down, because they should not be in business. A.Franco"
"Placed a delivery order for a Chicken Tempura roll, Philadelphia Roll and drink. About an hour later (20 minutes past estimated delivery time) the rolls arrived looking very small and sad. Not at all what I expected after viewing the menu and staged photos on their page. These were average sushi rolls with minimal flavors and one generic soy sauce to dip them in. The restaurant/delivery also forgot to include the drink I paid for so it wasn’t the best experience for my first time. I ate most of the tempura roll since I preferred it’s taste and textures over the other. I may try this again but I would go in person to hopefully get a better experience."
