"I've had excellent service and experiences here. I've been using them for several years. I currently don't have insurance, but they always run prescriptions through good Rx automatically. When I've had to transfer prescriptions from other pharmacies, they've made it extremely. The people are nice and helpful. I used Walgreens for a short time last year due to insurance requirements, and it was never a good experience."
"A year ago I would have said this pharmacy was great. However lately when I've been getting my refills, I've dealt with rude staff. Last week I wanted to refill my script, & asked the tech if they could check to see if the med was in stock. I was immediately told no, that they didn't have time. It's takes 10 secs to put me on hold, then walk to the shelf , & see if a med is in stock. I was even willing to wait several minutes. Then the tech would not let me speak , after I was told even though the med is in stick, I had to call in tomorrow to get it, because the current pharmacist couldn't approve my refills. Whenever I tried to ask a question the tech continued talking over me, which made me have to yell, & ask if I can speak. I was then placed on hold for like 10mins. I ended up having to physically go to the pharmacy to ask why that pharmacist couldnt approve my med. All of that for a different person to actually listen to me, answer my questions, & get my script approved, & filled. I knew I'd be able to get it filled, & was trying to explain that to the Tech, but she over talked me & kept trying to get me off the phone, instead of allowing me to ask further questions. Horrible service from the tech Ruby. Even if the staff is tired, & overworked... which I'm sure they are... being rude to customers is never okay. Over talking a client, & not allowing them to ask a question is not ok. Telling someone to call back in 2hrs... to see if a med is in stock, when you can wk 10ft , & look and see ...is not ok."
"In the past, I would have given this pharmacy 5 stars, as I experienced great service for a number of years and found the pharmacy techs to be very personable. But, it now has a new pharmacist most days of the week and other new staff who lack any compassion and seem to take pride in furthering the suffering of customers. I have been through 20 major surgeries over the past 15 years, including a heart transplant, spinal fusion and 2 laparotomies. I suffer from chronic pain and see a pain management specialist who prescribes me Oxycodone. While there is a national Oxycodone shortage, Publix pharmacy had plenty in stock to tide me over until their next order was to arrive. However, the pharmacy did not have enough tablets to fill my entire prescription when I ran out. In the past, the pharmacy manager, Cody Hampton— who DOES care about customers— always gave me a partial fill in such cases and then I picked up the remainder of the prescription when more came in. I was also given partial fills at Wake Forest Drug before they went out of business and at other pharmacies. Doing partial fills is a common and legal practice. However, this week when I tried to have my prescription of Oxycodone filled, I was told that the pharmacist named Christina decided she “wasn’t comfortable” with giving me a partial fill, so I would just have to do without any Oxycodone for a couple of days. Therefore, she chose to put me through opioid withdrawal rather than give me a partial fill. Again, they had plenty of Oxycodone to tide me over until they received more but she obviously didn’t care about me, the customer. The opioid epidemic in this country is not fueled by people with legal prescriptions for opioids! It is fueled by those who buy illegal drugs on the street— esp things that the user doesn’t realize is laced with fentanyl. But, this pharmacist named Christina apparently holds some stereotype about opioid users and took pleasure in making me sick. In fact, this type of behavior by pharmacists like her contribute to the epidemic because some who are dependent on opioids will go to the streets to get medication when faced with this kind of cruelty because those dependent on opioids get seriously I’ll when forced to stop cold turkey. I have a lot of pain in spite of being on opioids but when on nothing, it is horrible plus there is the muscle cramping, nausea, GI problems and BP issues withdrawal causes. Christina clearly views chronic pain sufferers as less than others and I encourage you not to support a pharmacy staffed by a pharmacist with this kind of despicable character. I’ll be filling my prescriptions elsewhere hereafter."
"This is by far the BEST pharmacy around! Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and willing to help. I travel 20 minutes just to use this pharmacy."
"I was treated horribly at this pharmacy. My dog has a collapsed trachea and needs to have his pills or he coughs terribly. I was told they would text me when it was ready. I sat in my car for 45 min waiting even though they said 20min. When I finally came in to ask, he said that he couldn’t fill it because I just filled it 10 days ago. The prescription is 3 pills a day and I get 30 pills. That would be 10 days. They then said that the prescription I got from my vet looked like it was photocopied. I was basically accused of lying and forgery. I promptly took my prescription to another pharmacy where they filled it right away and it was 15 dollars cheaper."
