Walgreens Pharmacy

"This pharmacy is convenient because of the drive-thru but if you have any questions and need to call the Pharmacy you better have at least one hour of your life to be on hold! Called the first time and stayed on hold for 35 minutes before I finally spoke to the pharmacist. She was supposedly helping me, put me back on hold for another five minutes and then I was disconnected. Immediately called back and stayed on purgatory hold for another 25 minutes to only be "greeted" by a very irritated pharmacy tech. A better system is needed when you cannot help a customer who has patiently waited on the phone for over an hour because you were too busy in the pharmacy with other customers!"

"Today I went in to pick up medicine for my sick children. When I get home the liquid medicine is POWDER. So I call and every time it rings they place it on hold. Finally after holding for over 20 minutes I speak to someone. After waiting in line over 30 minutes the first time they get the medicine wrong and then I have to drive back to Wake Forest. When I get there Elaine yells there is only one line. At this point I shouldn't have to wait in a long line because you all are not being responsible when it comes to distributing medicine which is a very important job. The customer service is awful. Then as they finally realize it’s me, the mother of a child who medicine you didn’t properly mix, they go ahead and fix it. As we leave the tech Shuntae throws the medicine across the counter into my husband’s hand as if we are the problem. She states, “put it in the refrigerator.” And walks off. No regard, nothing, that’s when I ask to speak to the manager who looks as if she is over worked. She then apologizes, but it doesn’t solve the problem. It should have never happened."

"They need way more pharmacy helpers.I wait every time I go.I feel like thered is always an issue.Always waiting in line either inside or outside in the car at the window.Needed my husbands Eloquis after his 3rd cardioversion this a.m. at Rex Hospital that didnt work.I was told Prescription would be ready at 3 p.m. At 6:03 p.m. it is still not ready.I have called twice to check and was put on hold.CVS is looking better everyday! Ill probably change....this is the final straw!! My husband is more susceptible to strokes after his cardioversion and needs his Eloquis!!!! NO EXCUSES!!!!"

"Heartless and slowwwwwww, and definitely not enough help. Since when you close your drive thru early while people are still there in line? You close early or put a note in the window that you don't have enough help so the pharmacy had to close. This isn't a grocery store, these are medications, that for some, can be a life or death situation. Not sure why y'all bought Rite-Aid...you couldn't handle what you had before, and now it's worse. Pitiful. You can tell by the stress in some of thr workers faces that they're not appreciated and managed super poorly. Sad."

"Amazing assistance (and patience) from the photo clerk and the store manager. I had made a mistake when trying to order photos online and had my very young and squirmy son with me while trying to figure out how to fix my mistake. The manager (I believe her name was Jessica?) was just so incredibly kind and helpful and really made a stressful situation much more pleasant. The atmosphere was so nice and friendly that it was noticeably different and compelled me to write a review to praise their professional courtesy because, in my experience, that doesn’t happen very often. So thank you to the store manager and the photo clerk. You two made my day and we got the photos in time for my sons birthday party that afternoon!"
