"It’s been around since 1949 and it’s the last of the Italian neighborhood restaurants in Rochesters old little Italy. Most of the inside is original. It’s not updated or modern but that’s part of its charm! I’ve been many times. Incredible food! I got Ravioli with meatballs. I thought it was great and my co worker, who had never been before said it was the best ravioli he had ever had. Wonderful service as well. Christine was an absolute sweetheart. She was attentive, fast, and was in general one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had, in any restaurant. Definitely recommend. It’s important that these sort of places stay open. Go support them! Way better Italian food than you’ll get at any chain."

"Our waitress Christine was great. We were there to celebrate a birthday and enjoy the eggplant parm and we did both. My tripe was the best I have had. It was not chewy at all, just tender enough without being mushy and the sauce had just the right amount of heat."

"Sauce is amazing! Hasn't changed in the 70 years they've been in business. Old, local Italian restaurant with excellent food. Eat and enjoy every bite. It's worth it. Only open for lunch, prices are very reasonable for an awesome menu."

"This is agreat little Italian spot. They have authentic Italian food large dishes for a great price. The servers are great and have a good attitude. The atmosphere is loud but the food is good.My wife and I come here often for lunch and have never had a bad meal. Service is always great also. Just wish they had better dining hours."
