This is a nice area and there's a great Jamaican place two doors down. I wish a better Chinese restaurant would replace this one."

"It's not bad, it's just not good either. Some of the most mediocre takeout Chinese I've ever had. We ordered general tso and sesame chicken. Even though they're supposed to be two different dishes the sauce tasted identical on both and they were both not great. Also ordered crab rangoon, it was your typical crab rangoon which means it was good, probably the only actual good food item we had. Lastly ordered a side of lo mein noodles. There was absolutely no sauce on them and they were extremely dry. Every lo mein noodle I've ever had has been saucy and thats how I like them."

"This is my 2nd review of China Wok, they are just SO GOOD and consistent that I thought they deserved it! I hadn’t visited them since late last summer, and was wondering if it was still THE place to go for Chinese, or if that had changed…Well I’m happy to say that it hasn’t changed, the same people own and run the place, and the food is still GREAT! I usually get the chicken egg foo yung dinner (see photos) and I actually get 2 meals from 1 order because you get SO MUCH FOOD! As you can see by the photos, it looks like quite a large plate, certainly VERY filling, but what you don’t know is that THIS IS ONLY 1/2 OF THE FOOD THAT YOU GET! And VERY REASONABLE when it comes to price…As a matter of fact l, there are over 10 dinner combinations that you can order, and they are all just over $10…Where else can you get so much and pay so little?? And the family that owns and runs it are GENUINELY SO NICE AND APPRECIATIVE, they literally light up when they see you!! I don’t go anywhere else! Try it SOON!!"

"We get take out at least once a month for the last 20 years. Even when they were in the old plaza prior to Walmart moving in. I have never had a bad meal from them. Maybe the bad reviewers are getting this place confused with the Chinese restaurant on Lyell Ave. Everything is always hot and fresh and ready when I arrive. Never had a problem with a special request like extra spicy or no onions. Always friendly as well."
