He called with an estimate and to get authorization. My machine was fixed in time to finish our project and my old machine runs like new. And the price was more than fair. Highly recommend without reservation."

"Living in a very rural area by the Canadian Border, I didn't think it would be a problem to order a sewing machine by mail order. My Bernette B79 arrived and I couldn't have been more thrilled until I couldn't get it to function properly no matter what I did. I couldn't take it to the dealer from where I purchased the machine because they were 3,000 miles away; they weren't helpful on the phone, telling me to purchase new bobbins and they didn't respond to email. I phoned Jon's which is 2+ hours away from our home and scheduled a service appointment In a short time, Jon adjusted the timing, which apparently had never been adjusted when it left the vendor, and voila it works! Jon's is a beautiful store and if ever in the market for a new machine or supplies related to my current machine, I would definitely make the trip to purchase the machine from him."
