Reviews of Wood Boat Brewery
"Great pizza and food, all around. The staff is hard working and friendly. I highly recommend the jalapeño poppers, the pulled pork, jalapeño popper pizza, and Buffalo chicken pizzas! You can personalize pizzas also, so no worries! They have a wide variety of beers, including their own beers. My personal favorite is the Old Town Stout. The rest of their beer is good. Order a flight and find out for yourself! Highly recommend!"
"Great place to have some food and beer! Pizza combinations are super creative and tasty. Wood oven pizza is my go to. Huge patio outside and lots of room inside with tables and a bar. Service was great."
"It was ok. Alex our waitress was nice and then big parties started coming to sit outside. Tons of dogs and if you like that, great. Go inside if you don’t. Because there were lots of them outside. Then we just ordered two drinks and two sandwiches. Nothing major. Awhile goes by and my wine glass is empty. The waitress had brought out drinks for the large tables…no biggie. So when she walks by I just ask for another glass of wine and possibly my salad (I ordered a side salad with my meal). She snottily responds “I was waiting on the larger tables” . Yea I saw that. I wasn’t waving my hand like a maniac asking for wine, as my son is in the restaurant business. So she comes back in a bit, with the wine and our food. She slams the food down on the glass table and I know the table and plates are glass so it makes a noise but she did it abruptly. Then, throws the bag of chips down my company had with their sandwich and starts talking in a loud voice to us for no reason. She came back later and asked if everything was ok in the same loud voice. Sorry we weren’t a big table and I just wanted a glass of wine and food that’s not cold. My son would’ve been angry over this even. I usually leave a 25-45% tip at least. Her tip reflected her attitude. The food was good but minuscule in size. The “side salad” is just a few pieces of lettuce and some tomatoes. The coleslaw was in a table spoon sized cup and pulled pork sandwich was good but small also with very few pieces of pork. Not impressive. Photo included of the mini sized coleslaw."
"Loved this place. Good atmosphere, it was very busy and service was good. The best pizza in the area! And the dough was delicious as well. I normally leave most of the crust, if not all, but I could not with this pizza. It was all devoured. Very good beer as well. Had the Popper Pizza."
"We tried out Wood Boat Brewery as a recommendation in a local Facebook group. We took an out of town friend with us. The seating is squished together, and (at no fault of the restaurant at all) the table next to us was extremely obnoxious and loud. Sadly the limited seating puts you in close proximity to the others. The music selection was nice, and the place was clean from our standpoint. Food: Best pizza I have had in a while. Came out fresh and hot and the crust was very good. The sauce tastes like fresh tomatoes and the cheese was gooey. We had a Buffalo pizza and a personal pepperoni. We ordered (not pictured) the pretzels with beer cheese. I was not a fan of the beer cheese but the pretzels were delicious. Soft, warm, and buttery with the perfect salt. The guys tried the bacon wrapped jalapeños and loved the jam they were served with. We would return and have the pizza again! Service was good, the waitress was kind."
