Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Our server was phenomenal but unfortunately, those helping her, not so much. We had our company Christmas party lunch there at 2:00. Eight medium to large guys. They tried to sit us at a booth. We couldn't even all fit. The waitress said to put two round tops together and she would still take care of us even though it was on the opposite side. She was friendly, attentive and made good suggestions. Unfortunately, she needed assistance being on the other side of the bar from her section. The other staff helped bring our food and got it all messed up. Plus, they didn't bring little plates for the appetizers until we were 1/2 done. One of the guys had ribs and asked twice for a wet napkin as he was inside and could not get out easily. On the third try, it was our actual waitress and she jumped right on it. A couple of us had burgers and the sauces were so much you couldn't pick up the burger but had to eat it with a fork. One had a steak and it was overcooked. One guy got a salad and it was just lettuce. A party of eight is not huge and we waited until the lunch rush was almost over and they still struggled. Not so bad that I wouldn't go back but I know it could have been better. I did tip the waitress about 27% figuring she would have to split it."

"The BBQ sauce on the ribs was very salty instead of sweet and tangy. Chicken and shrimp was drenched in butter. Service however was excellent"

"The restaurant was busy, we were quoted a 10 min wait. We were sat within that time frame and greeted by our server promptly. She was patient and helpful with us even though we had some modifications to a few items. The food came out in a timely manner however the burger and tenders were a little over cooked. The fries were warm not hot but everything was still edible. The server and the host made the experience a good one."

"We had Angela as our server while we visited. She was very animated and always smiling! It was quiet before the lunch rush, so it was calm. We had ordered the combo appetizer, 2 sandwiches, and 2 lemonade. The spinach artichoke dip was interesting. The cheese was a blob, with a big piece of a very hard artichoke. The meal was still good, even with that oops of a dip. Definitely planning to go back on another girl's day!"

"Great experience! The food was fresh and hot. Heidi, our waitress, was attentive, quick, and had a great personality! Quick service and everything was prepared perfectly. Nothing was missed and the food was spot on. We will definitely be back!"
