"I hate to leave less than 3 stars so I’m going to leave it at 3 stars. Our friends have raved about the food here so my husband and I decided we would go for lunch today. My mom owns restaurants so I’ve been raised around the service industry and love supporting local businesses! This has been on our list of local spots to try. Unfortunately, as pleasant as our waitress and the hostess were I’m unsure if we will be back. We sat at 12:10pm, our waitress came over shortly after. We ordered our food (Caesar salad with grilled chicken, quesadilla and a grilled cheese) by 12:15pm as my husband only has an hour lunch break. Our 2 year old was with us and growing increasingly hungry and tired.. I felt awful that she was starting to get restless. At 12:50pm we had not received our food or any communication as to what the hold up was so we decided to leave. There was a man who was sat after us, got his food promptly and paid all before 12:40pm. As we were leaving the hostess told us she would comp our meals and bag up what they had ready. We truly appreciated that gesture and she tried her best to make it right. I got to the car and gave my daughter her grilled cheese and fries- fries were bone cold, grilled cheese had definitely been sitting for a while. My salad was good, but it had also been sitting as the lettuce was soggy. My husband’s quesadilla was warmish. Overall, the food was good despite the circumstances. I’m unsure if it’s a kitchen issue? I’d say if you’re going to give it a try, allot more than an hour of time."

"Stopped in for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised:-) Grits and Scallops were delicious as was the crawfish bread that came with it! Burger and fries were great as well:-) nice atmosphere and the owner was more than friendly and cares very much about the customer experience."

"The fried blue cheese salad was excellent! The vegetables were fresh and crisp. My friends grilled chicken salad was beautiful. The fried green tomatoes were hot and crispy. Their homemade pimento cheese was delicious. Our server, Taylor, was so friendly and hospitable. This was my first visit... It's definitely not my last. I'll be back again."

"The cheeseburgers were too good for words! They bring freshly made pork skins complimentary to the table, which were awesome and still warm! Everything was fresh, cooked to order, so much food, we took to-go boxes home. We will be coming back here to try more of the menu items next time. The owner and staff were super friendly and checked on our table several times. Great location, outstanding food, very clean, and wonderful service. Seriously, I think we found our new favorite restaurant!"

"The burgers were delicious. We had the house burger blend and it was juicy without being greasy. The brioche buns were great. The pork rinds are fabulous, delicious, crunchy, everything a pork rind should be. We also ordered the en route onions, which are onion rings stuffed with Buffalo chicken. While I really appreciated that is was homemade chicken, they just really weren't that flavorful. The chicken in the center was cold and they came after our food arrived. Overall I am definitely interested in checking out the meat and 3 day."
