"Buyer beware. I received a gift certificate for my birthday in February. In early May - I tore a tendon in my arm and required surgery with a full six month recovery. Once I was cleared by my doctor in December, I reached out regarding availability for the spring. I was told at that time, by this company, that my gift certificate expired on December 31 - and that they were booked out for a month. I am unable to use my gift - so I can't tell you whether or not it's a great trip or not. But their policies are not customer friendly - and certainly not gracious in unforeseen circumstances. Also - since my gift certificate wasn't valid for a full year - not sure what happens if you buy one in the fall as a gift for Christmas. Proceed with this knowledge."

"Fly Fish Blue Ridge was AMAZING! The stream is beautiful, the setting picturesque, the fish were good size and eager to bite, and Gene and my guide Reece were salt of the earth kind of people. Gene made setting up the appointment a breeze and his directions to the place were spot on and easy to follow. When I arrived, his warm welcome made me feel at home. He was extremely helpful getting me all set up for the morning. Then he sent me off with my guide, Reece. He was absolutely phenomenal. Reece knew the stream well, was a great teacher, and was incredibly patient with my novice trout fishing skills. I caught a good number of fish, but I could have easily tripled that if I was a little more skilled with fly fishing. But even my poor skill didn't keep me from catching fish. I highly recommend Fly Fish Blue Ridge for your fishing adventure! You won't be disappointed!"
