"I worked with trident this last year and loved it! My manager was so nice and made sure we kept the pool safe and clean for everyone! They created a positive environment with the employees and staff."
"I have worked for trident for the last two summers and planning to return again! Trident is great, I can't say enough good things about them. Support staff for lifeguards is incredible as they go above and beyond to make sure lifeguards are taken care of and most importantly, well trained. Trident makes sure that everything is done well and efficiently no matter what the task may be. I can't say enough good things about Trident! Excited to be back next summer!"
"Trident is the worst. My HOA tried to cancel an auto renew contract with them 4 months ahead of time but Trident refused because the deadline was missed by a few days. Unbelievable that they will take advantage of a small HOA. Avoid them at all costs."
"They were hired to maintain our HOA’s pool and have allowed our pool to become DISGUSTING!"
"Former pool technician here. Trident harnesses poor communication to take advantage of how many pools an employee services each day. The pay is weekly salary so trying to keep hours low equates to a higher hourly rate. The supervisors will wait til the last minute to provide instructions, like the mandatory meetings on Monday morning will be communicated via WhatsApp at 9pm Sunday nights. We took a class in early March 2023 to become CPO registered. The 20 hr long class of about 13 pool technicians are still waiting on their certificates. The lead techs are a year overdue on their certs. One would feel taken advantage of and wonder if we are even CPO certified if unable to provide evidence. A lot of the company work trucks are currently unregistered. I was trying to look out for the new, younger employees by leading the charge on several truck inspections. A police officer informed me that the driver of a company vehicle is liable to citation with expired tags and not the company. I would hate to hear about negligence negatively impacting one of the younger guys due to company error. When I inquired about this, a supervisor informed me that we would be reimbursed for tickets on expired registration. I asked about points on a license and he said if it was a first offense it shouldn't effect license points. Company trucks are outfitted with cameras (one for driver and one for road) and GPS (supervisor receives alerts of trucks going 10 mph over speed limit). Poor communication and planning has exacerbated the following: traffic, going to south CLT to pick up supplies, meeting with managers for gas, prioritizing surveillance over DOT regulations. The company fosters an environment of frustration by not providing support and addressing employee concerns."
