"Reviews are a little misleading. It's very small and not very high up. That being said, the view is still beautiful. Watch out for bears! We saw one as we turned around, pretty close to the road."

"The Gatlinburg Bypass Road is a real life saver if you visit during high traffic season. We make a habit of staying on one or another end of the Parkway and walking in between. The Bypass Road has several great overlooks with beautiful views of the City. It is worth the trip just to enjoy these vistas but also misses the traffic.
