"Love this little park. It’s an easy walk and a beautiful gem right next to downtown Blowing Rock. The walkway is paved and goes all around the pond. There is also a paved path that goes over to a large covered gazebo and baseball field. There is plenty of parking all around and we always walk over to the gardens across the street, as well. There is a small park nearby within walking distance."
"Loved it! Such a beautiful clean place. Picnic tables nearer the park would be nice though for elderly that can’t climb hills and a bathroom on level ground. Other than that it was just beautiful."
"A nice, small park. But, if it’s no big enough to your liking, it’s in within short walking distance of others and downtown Blowing Rock. There’s fishing, a fountain, a gazebo, and water fowl."
"Peaceful great for a picnic or evening walk. Seen some ducks and fish. There is a trail nearby across the road the glen burney falls trail I also recommend checking that out while you’re in town if you’re into hiking."
"A beautiful park that's just off the beaten path. We enjoyed a little quiet time as we strolled around the lake along the trail. Also, discovering the small extension of the park that's just across the street (opposite the parking end of the park) was a pleasant addition to our walk. This would be a great place for a blanket-picnic."
