"Kayla welcomed us when we walked in. I told her that we were only interested in advertised discounts. Kayla found us quite a few discount brochures. Very helpful."
"This is a front for Wyndham Timeshares. They will harrass you and attempt to entice you with discount tickets for overpriced tourist traps. Don't even take their map offer or you'll get a sales pitch."
"You know, they say Myrtle Beach is the perfect vacation spot. You got the sun, the sand, and all the seagulls you can chase away from your french fries. It's like a paradise where you can soak up the sun and hope your sunburn fades faster than your memories of playing mini-golf and getting beaten by a six-year-old named Tommy. But hey, it's all worth it for those priceless family photos where everyone's smiling, even though deep down they're secretly plotting to escape to a less crowded beach. Ah, Myrtle Beach, where memories are made and your wallet becomes as empty as the sunscreen bottle by the end of the trip."
"We was there may 1 was ok almost went I understood it was a timeshare was gonna spend 40$ for a cruise for 2 but the people couldn't give details I feel if they are going to offer a deal to go try to sell you something they should have their info ...we asked questions and they just looked at us like we was speaking another language lol One of them asked if I needed a job because I was telling my mom it's a time share they want to see if you qualify see if you make enough ect personally I have done a few of them and a couple hours wasn't bad for what we got noone scammed us kind of think of it as bartering the gift for your time ..we have went on a cruise we have done the racecars the 3 day 2 night...NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FREE...PERIOD...."
"BEWARE! It's branded as a Broadway Information Booth, but it's Much More!. It started with a friendly intro and questions about what we were looking for in the park and what we like to do for fun, using a free map of the park as a discussion point. Then handing us free coupon books with more discussion around out dining out and golf preferences.... . It suddenly shifted to "Here's what we can do for you" (very pitchy).... 2 free rounds of golf ( worth over $150) and a dinner voucher (worth $75) if we paid $50 up front, followed by then asking us if that was a good deal. (repeatedly trying to get a " yes" out of us) . They needed my driver's licence to see if we qualified. After we questioned that, they clarified that certain geographic areas qualify for their marketing dollars, but they couldn't spend too much in one area. That was the rationale for this " too good to be true " deal, to which they finally indicated there was one condition, a virtual presentation, which when we probed further was actually an on-site presentation by Wyndham for 220min. They absolutely avoided clarifying who Wyndham was, when we asked. I could go on and on... But once we advised them we were not committing to anything, the VIBE changed dramatically, to a desperation feeling from them and for us, almost feeling guilty that we had dome something to disappoint them. We are quite familiar with timeshares or vacation exchange offers, we run into them frequently, in short, you get a free gift of some value and give up your time ie a few hrs, to be presented and sold ( often by experts at applying pressure and overcoming objections) to buy flexible vacation travel weeks. ANYWAY, we have no issue with the product itself, some of our friends love them, it's the approach here, in this location that is very deceptive and finely tuned. They never once mentioned their true intention and what the presentation was about, even after I ( knowingly at that point) asked. Clearly they were after my driver's licence and credit card, likely to prove we are a valid lead, so they could get their commission. This is what creates a bad reputation in their industry. JUST BE UP FRONT AND HONEST PEOPLE! Rest of the facility is great!"
