"We’ve just visited for our second time. The first time we decided to visit was to get a good sense for ourselves what this place was really like. There were SO many 1 star reviews. But, upon reading those reviews I realized that most people even admit they’ve never even been there before. So they’re not giving their review on an experience, they’re giving their opinion.. which less than affects me. After visiting, I realized a lot of people who “went”, likely didn’t. I saw nothing that was being described by many reviews. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit on both occasions and really hope to go back asap. We have never felt unsafe, or that the animals were unsafe or “doped up”. The people who work there don’t just work there, they live there. They live with the animals, bond with the animals, and it truly shows. I am a huge animal lover and against any form of animal abuse. I rescue anything from a cat to a possum myself. These animals are not abused. They are loved. The animals’ “people” are always close by and ensure that no one can do anything at all to harm the animals or make the animals uncomfortable.. therefore, making sure no one gets hurt. They’re very responsible and it’s truly a once in a lifetime experience that I’m very glad we have been able to experience. You can tell that the owner and everyone there are very passionate about their animals and love them dearly. Personally, we can’t wait to go back."

"12/27/23. I had an amazing time checking the place out for a bucket list and to see if it would be worth bringing my grandchildren to later! As someone who was married to a zoo keeper, I missed animal encounters! It was truly an amazing experience that I won’t soon forget! It was worth every penny! I want to bring all 12 of my grandchildren to meet these awesome people and their incredible animals! As an educator, I can easily recommend this encounter to inspire young people to protect and respect wildlife! I will do the full tour when I come back!"

"Omg I took my kids there last night (8-10-23) for a night safari. It was soooooo beautiful. I want to go back. I always wanted to to get up close with animals monkeys especially, and thanks to them I was able to do so. I legit love this place. It’s definitely worth every single dollar I promise. I would definitely go back for one of their other experiences. Everyone was nice and respectful and the owner is amazing and friendly as ever."

"I would give this place a million stars if I could. The safari proved to be more than a vacation highlight - it was a unique journey of discovery and adventure. My mother and I attended both the Day and Night Safari, both of which were educational yet very engaging. The animals were amazing (obviously), but I was surprised to see how lovely the employees were, too! You are truly being invited into their home for these tours; the relationship they have with each other creates a fun and personable environment you can't find anywhere else. It’s a shame this place has received negative reviews likely from a documentary created for shock value instead of actual facts. The animals are very well taken care of and loved by the entire staff, many of which are family. Dr. Robert Johnson, one of the tour guides and an expert on animal behavior, has been working there for almost 30 years and is the perfect individual to ask any questions you might have about how the animals are taken care of. They only do 3 tours a week and each animal is out for approximately 15-20 minutes; the animals are very energetic and playful. Additionally, Doc Antle's children grew up with the animals - seeing the bond they share is unparalleled. While waiting to check in, my mother and I saw Kody Antle (Doc's son) riding a golf cart with the chimps, having a blast. Even if you aren't able to visit the safari, many of the family members and staff have social media accounts with incredible content that is worth checking out, too (my favorite is watching the chimps make coffee)! Beyond the superb staff, this unforgettable experience provides many unique opportunities you won't find anywhere else, especially for the price. While they offer photo encounters, I truly recommend setting aside the extra time and money for either one (or both) Safaris so you can spend more time hanging out with the animals and staff. Both provides tremendous value for the price - you receive photos, a delicious (vegetarian) meal where you can help yourself to as much as you'd like, plenty of encounters with the animals, a wealth of information, and moments to truly talk to the staff about absolutely anything. Doc Antle, Aaliyah, Tawny, Sarah, Jalen, Rio, and Dr. Johnson are SWEETHEARTS. They're very down to earth and willing to have amazing conversations! Both tours have many surprises and fun activities so it's impossible to leave without a giant smile on your face. When booking the tours, you get a discount for doing both the Day and Night Safari, but IF you are only able to do one then I would suggest the Night Safari, which was my mom's (and many of the staff's) favorite. The photos from the Night Safari didn't turn out quite as good in my opinion (although hopefully you're going for more than just the photos) but the entire experience was magical - where else can you dance above tigers, roast s'mores with chimps, and watch giant apex predators play with each other like tiny cats in a pool while waiting in line to feed an elephant? This being said, personally I'm torn and don't have a favorite - I LOVED the Day Safari, too, which had its own unique, exciting adventures you need to see to believe! The only thing I could see disappointing some visitors was a recent law passed which prohibits them from allowing you to feed or hold the baby tigers. Despite this, the staff persevered and got creative - they have a thin, flexible plastic wall which allows you to still get close to them. They'll take your photo and they know the perfect angle/pose so it looks like you're holding one of these cute cubs. While certainly impressed with the photo, I personally felt it was misleading so I wasn't a big fan, but I love how they did everything within their power to create a fantastic experience nonetheless. The one-on-one encounters with the countless other animals truly makes up for this! Like I said, you will NOT leave disappointed! Overall, I am so grateful and looking forward to hopefully returning soon! I would LOVE to do a private encounter to swim with Bubbles (the elephant)!"
