"Talk about a day and night difference in ownership. The new owner Edwin inherited our project and worked with us through multiple redesigns since the original plans did not take into account the topography of our backyard. It really helped that he has an Engineering degree, which made it easier for us to troubleshoot any potential issues before they became actual ones. Juve, the lead foreman, was great to work with as well. He and his team showed up for months, always with a smile and willingness to go that extra mile to make sure that the pool and patio looked amazing. I fought with the original owner for an entire year to start the project after they already had a $25k deposit. Edwin showed up the day after he bought the company to see what the project entailed. He was onsite the following day to start digging - one year vs one day. I believe that the difference in service is because the new ownership works with an in-house crew vs outsourcing to subcontractors. It really made a difference in the amount of pride that was taken to complete the build. I tell everyone I know looking to build a high-end luxury pool to not think twice when considering Superior Pools; just pull the trigger."

"Great experience with SPOT and Edwin. We originally met with Edwin in May of 2022. Signed our agreement and made selections early June of 2022 and construction begin at the end of July. Construction was completed and pool was filled mid September. Edwin was involved and responsive every step of the way. His team is great. "This is probably THE BEST ever service I have ever received in my life. I contacted Edwin through a web form after researching online for inground concrete pool installation. Edwin called me the next day (it was Sunday when I filled out the form). Edwin is the owner of this business and is one of the nicest people on earth. Very courteous, polite and above all the consummate professional. We talked about my project and my budget and he came out that day to take a look at our backyard. Within a week, we had a contract and Edwin explained the timeline. the process and everything that would be involved in building a pool. And believe me, there is A LOT involved. It is a huge undertaking and with the right contractor, it can be a breeze but with the wrong contractor it can turn into a nightmare. And that was my fear to begin with. But Edwin simply 'melted' those fear because he is such a professional. His crew, everyone, from Carl (the heavy equipment operator) to Uve (I hope I got his name right - the site manager) to Adam (the electrician), to all the other sub contractors that came to our yard, they were all the consummate professionals. We broke ground in the third week of October (after signing the contract in August - it takes a few weeks for the City of Raleigh to open the permit) and believe me, by New Year Edwin was going to put water in our pool :). We had to slow him down and ask him to push the time line a bit because we simply did not want the start up process to happen during winter, not that there is anything wrong with that. Edwin listened and responded to all of our requests with such care and attention. He was on top of things, he responds to texts and made sure that all of our permitting inspections pass without any issues. If you ever thinking of putting a pool, please, please, please do your diligence and research and make sure to hire the right contractor because the process is so complex and having the right contractor, like Edwin, makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I would be more than happy to speak with whomever in more detail if they want a reference for Edwin. I can talk hours about our experience with him and it is ALL GOOD. Edwin and his team are probably one of the best contractors in NC when it comes to pools. They know their stuff so well and trust me, THAT IS SOOO IMPORTANT in a project of such magnitude. "While we had serious doubts about the service initially, there was some turnover before our pool was installed. Zack took over and things went much, much better! Zack was responsive and his previous pool construction expertise showed. He listened and understood what our wishes were and how they matched with our original planning. We can't say enough about his crew and his ability to guide them. Alex was super nice and helpful. He did whatever he was allowed to help us make the project complete and to train us on using the pool. Alex is a kind person willing to go above and beyond to make the process smoother. The concrete company (H2D Concrete Specialists) Superior contracted with was outstanding. Their work was very good and efficient. We love the pool and deck and can't wait to give it a try next swimming season. For now, we have to deal with the inherent mess that comes with digging a pool in a clay yard!! We love the workmanship so far and are excited to get the area settled. I'm adding pictures, but be aware that we have not had the opportunity to get the surrounding area planted and mulched as we are still waiting on our fence to be installed.
