"Great place to get wett."
"Great place. Parking is tight though."
"A good men's locker room, and good swimming pools. There are two, one 8 lane pool and an Olympic size pool (sometimes reserved for athletes). The deepest is 11ft which is doubled as dive well. The usual wait time is half an hour unless you're early."
"Two incredible pools maintained exceedingly well. Given how popular and crowded the Carmichael gym is, the pools are surprisingly easy to find a lane in. However there are frequent teaching and practice sessions with the NC State swim team (go pack!), especially during spring and fall semesters. They are quite considerate in that they leave 5-6 lanes available for free swim, but that does mean you may need to double up with someone else in a lane. Don't be shy and wait around! Ask to share a lane, everyone is friendly. My only wish is for there to be a way to figure out if there are lanes available before you enter the pool area, to avoid the awkward shuffle/wait around the pool after showering."
"It is an older building but great atmosphere for a swim meet. NCSU has a great swimming & diving team. Also, there is no admission fee to go watch an NC State swim meet. We have gone to the natatorium to watch youth swim meets as well."
