Best Western Plus Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach

"Staff was great, but the room keys would quit working. They would never work on most of the outside doors. We kept having to get new keys for the room because they would quit working. Going to the room, trying to get in, going down stairs to get a new key several times a day was very frustrating."

"Out standing - beds were extremely comfortable - clean rooms - TV channels were fading in and out, but enough of TV anyway, Friendly and helpful staff. Right next door to Costco for gasoline and stuff plus 1/4 mile west is an awesome seafood restaurant. Shrimp & Grits was unbelievable. The name started with "H" Creamy grits topped with sautéed shrimp, onions, tomatoes, and lobster cream sauce."

"Our family had a blast staying here. My young daughters still talk about the hotel kitties! The front desk attendants were all very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. Great view and great location to Wilmington attractions. Only 20+ minutes to the beach!"

"The entire team at this location is amazing!!!!! We’ve been traveling a lot and believe me this is where you want to stay! We had a personal tragedy happen during our stay and the team went above and beyond to treat us with kindness. Jennifer stepped in and took care of us “I’ve got you” was her response complete with a hug. Rosa and Casey served breakfast with a smile and took care of all “pancake emergencies”. Erin and Chloe at the front desk were always kind and professional. This team is absolutely amazing! We didn’t encounter one sour employee. If upper management at Best Western reads this; this is the team that you want to replicate everywhere!!!! Put simply they’re AWESOME!"

"This hotel was an excellent value for the season and location!!!! We walked into a pristine room. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh!!!! No lingering smells of pets or smoke! Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. I loved this place. No signs of bugs as mentioned by others so they are attentive to upkeep. Wood floors seem recently installed and look great! Pet fee was $30/night Best Western really is the best!"
