"This is such a wonderful place to bring the family or just you and your people. The view is absolutely breath taking. The owner is a super nice guy! He let me and my 3 yr old pick out some eggs from the farm for breakfast! The two dogs on the property are great with small children and great at their job protecting the farm. Just an all around amazing experience! Thank you for opening your land to others so we can enjoy your slice of heaven!"

"My family and I spent five nights at Emerald Gate Farm and John was fantastic. He showed us around the property when we first arrived and was always attentive to make sure we had anything we needed. He has a very laid back personality and was great with the kids, showing them how to fish with bamboo fishing poles, feed the animals, work in the garden and showed them how to shoot. The property is amazing. Three ponds connected by several mountain streams and the sound of the small waterfalls makes for an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. Most of the trees were bare given the time of year, but it was still gorgeous and I'm sure it's even better during spring and summer. The cabin is very comfortable and well furnished. We and our six children had plenty of room without using the basement. The kitchen is very spacious with newer appliances (the stove looks rustic, but it's actually a very nice gas stove), coffee machine (standard and Keurig) and microwave. The wrap around deck is big and provides plenty of covered space for kids to play when it's raining. I cannot recommend Emerald Gate Farm strongly enough. It is an enchanting hideaway at a great rate for the peace and tranquility it provides."
