Ocean Reef Resort

"We have stated ocean reef for the past eight years this year the prices doubled we understand the price must go up a little. They’ve added $25 per day for room service. We had room service once in 14 days because that’s the time we requested it if we didn’t request it, we would not have any room service. They never explained that to us when we made original reservations places really priced itself and I would like a call please from Ocean reef manager."

"We were here for an overnight mini vacation and we will definitely return. The room was spacious and clean. The indoor and outdoor pools were sufficiently heated and the arcade was a lot of fun. The bar was reasonably priced and the bartender was friendly."

"This is our go to place for a nice vacation spot. Room was very updated and nice. Friendly staff and indoor water park was a great plus. Other times we have stayed, we have gotten free breakfast passes and we also we had a do not disturb sign on our door, but Maintenace knocked anyways saying they need to replace our cabinets. I told them I was sorry that wasn't going to happen because we had the room rented until the next day. Other than that, the stay was phenomenal! Highly recommended, will stay again."

"My son (5) wanted to go to a resort for his birthday. Since in the past I’ve enjoyed coming to Ocean Reef I decided to book here at this resort. My husband dropped everything off so that we could go out and do what our son wanted to do for his birthday. When we got back to the room and went in the bathroom I was disgusted. The shower/tub was not clean, had hair all on the back of the tub. The toilet wasn’t cleaned and the door had what looked like blood and brown stains all over it. One of the ceiling tiles in the kitchen area was lifted and the lamp was not working. I contacted the front desk with my concerns and was informed housekeeping was not available and that they had went home due to them being sick. I was offered free breakfast, which was fine but my room was disgusting. Now let’s talk about breakfast. When we got the breakfast pass the 1st one said breakfast was from 7-11. Why when we get down there two minutes before ten the sign said closed. We looked over the passes and saw (2) said 7-10 and the other (2) said 7-10. Now after staying in a dirty room and receiving passes that we could not use due to the discrepancy, we will be finding somewhere else to vacation."

"Got a great deal for NYE weekend. Our 2 bedroom ocean view was amazing. We overlooked the pool in the South Tower. It was just a few steps away from the beach. Since it was winter, we used the indoor pool. It's swim at your own risk so there was no one there to monitor all of the drunk adults at one end in the hot tub and their kids running around like crazy on the other end. We were with our 8 year old and the kids had complete disregard for us (splashing us in the face multiple times etc.) We only used it once because of this. We didn't allow it to ruin our time there. The only thing we didn't know is that this hotel is also a timeshare. Thankfully they are not aggressive at all. The only time it was mentioned to me was when I tried to get tickets at the concierge for a show and was told I'd have to listen to a pitch in order to get them. I declined and ended up just using their coupon book instead (which has lots of great deals.) The concierge was not pushy at all and very nice. We would definitely stay here again. I'm not sure how crazy it is in the summer, but it was quiet and nice in December."
