"My husband and I booked a cabin for our 1st anniversary and we loved our cabin! It looked even better than it did in the pictures and it was incredibly clean and it smelled good! We really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and the hot tub and the view was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and they helped us out with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!"

"We've stayed 6 nights in Secret Falls cabin. The cabin is very romanticly placed overlooking a waterfall cascade accessed by a long wooden walkway including a bridge over the stream. The only downside is that the cabin is facing Wears Valley road, Rt 321 and it can be noisy when cars or motorbikes pass. The roar of the cascading falls cloud most of the traffic noise. The interior is a bit old and sometimes -especially in the additions- the craftsmanship is poor, but we still found it very romantic. The cabin (Secret Falls) at the time of writing (2016) was in need of appliance update. The hot tub is old and not fully operational (no bubbles). The grill was cheap, rusted and fell apart. The Water heater leaks rust so the owner's note discourages washing with hot water. Internet was also not working during our stay making planning our activities difficult. Alpine Chalet was not on top of fixing the reported issues (hot tub, internet), the maintenance person didn't show up until day 4 and was not able to fix anything. With a bit of investment and better service this would be a nice cabin to stay in."

"We stayed in Nature Lovers #38. The chalet was very nice & quaint. Everything was clean & organized, and we felt very comfortable staying here. The staff was very kind & professional. They should also make some updates to the chalets. The downside of staying here was mainly the hot tub, every night when we tried to get in, it would cut off about ten minutes afterwards, we called maintenance, they came to fix it but of course it still cut off anyways. Also the upstairs shower was bad. Water shoots out from both the faucet & shower head, the water was either burning hot, or freezing cold. We were also told our cabin wouldn't be ready until at least 4pm, but when we pulled up housekeeping was still there. Even with all this I would still recommend staying here, just maybe make some updates!"

"I think our experience with Alpine Rentals was exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a more responsive, caring team to work with. They were kind, respectful and very attentive and eager to make sure that you were confident in entrusting them with your reservation. However, our cabin experience left a little to be desired. The rooms didn't have 4 towels as promised, only 3. There were a couple of spiders in the cabin. No real issue for me, but could have been for some. As far as housekeeping was concerned, everything was fairly clean and as advertised. The parking was horrendous. There was absolutely not enough room for all of our cars. Please mention that in your description....then people can plan ahead and be prepared. You can safely park 4 cars max there. The beds were adequate for some and uncomfortable for others. It may be time to upgrade mattresses in The Gangs' all here soon. I think it may be worth the price of an extra cable box so that all of the rooms will have television programming. Other than those issues, the cabin was quite lovely, has a wrap around porch, a huge tv room, lots of seating throughout and several sofa beds in addition to the eight bedrooms. I would not book the same cabin again, but I would definitely give Alpine Rentals another chance."

"I do not usually take the time to even fill out a comment card; however, I do have to write with letter about the most amazing and personalized service my family and I have ever received. We rented the Almost Paradise Cabin #007 for a family vacation August 1st – 4th that included 8 guests. Upon arriving in Gatlinburg we were tired and impatient looking for our cabin, and we were provided a map but we quickly gave up and called for help. When we called the Alpine Chalet Rental office for help, much to our surprise, James offered to meet us at the Aquarium (located near the cabin) and have us follow him up the mountain. You can’t imagine how relieved we were to have someone that knew exactly how to locate the cabin. He was the most helpful and friendly person I have ever dealt with, he told us it was no problem and when the remainder of our party arrived if needed he could escort them also. Luckily the remainder of our party located the cabin with no problem. It might seem like a small thing having someone escort you to the cabin, but it got our vacation off to a perfect start. I am sure that James had many other issues to deal with at that moment, but he made up feel like the only guests Alpine Chalet Rentals had. We were not even home when we started planning our next trip to the Smokey Mountains. We would never consider staying with anyone else except Alpine due to the terrific service the entire staff provided, but especially James. The cabin was amazing and I could not believe the value. I thought the cabin would be nice, it was outstanding. I expected to barely have enough dishes to get by, but was very impressed by the quality and quantity of all kitchen appliances and necessities. The cabin was so nice it was tempting to stay there instead of sight-seeing, but we did our share of both."
