"The google address does not bring directly to this studio. I went to this location for the first time today and when I was near GUGLHUPF bakery! Though I love that bakery but it was not what I was looking for this morning. So, whoever manages the address (1800 e Franklin st, #5, chapel hill) - pls get this updated!!"
"Excellent studio! I have been a CorePower vet for ~4 years now, though I am new to this location (about 6 weeks now). Everything is clean and well-maintained. The teachers and staff are excellent. The classes are challenging and satisfying. I feel myself growing and developing in my practice each and every time I take to my mat for class. I recommend a membership to this location most highly!"
"If you want to get charged a membership you didn't subscribe to, which for me $129, definitely go to this place. I did a free trial back in April and attended 5 classes. I decided that it wasn't for me and made sure that I canceled my trial so that they would not automatically charge me after my trail. Nothing from CorePower was charged to my account the following two months, but all of a sudden in June, they charged me this insane amount. I tried calling the local office and NO ONE picked up. I left two voicemails explaining the situation and no responded. I logged in to make sure that the subscription was canceled so that they did not bill me for the next month. Then I received an email from them stating that they have processed my cancel request but they did not AT ALL address my concern, which was that I did not sign up for an all access subscription and that I was falsely charged for the month of June. Please do not go to this place, they are not responsive to your concerns."
"I started going to CorePower in Chapel Hill last year shortly after they reopened from COVID. This studio had exactly the kind of yoga workout I was looking for! I like my vinyasa flows to be a bit more intense and this works for me. I also started doing their sculpt classes in order to add some more cardio into my routine. I can definitely feel my body getting stronger. I love Frannie and the team! The class schedule changes depending on when the college students are in town, but I’ve always been able to find something to fit into my schedule!"
"The studio seems to have shifted focus to HIT training instead of yoga. There is no variation in any of their classes the C2 is intense and the sculpt is intense and those are the only 2 classes they have regularly. They have only one C1 class a week. This studio has such an important role in the community as a yoga studio with some core strength building. If it starts making push-ups and fire hydrant kicks a regular part of its flows little separates it from a regular gym. Been an intermittent member for a while (due to Covid). The teachers are nice and the facilities are always really clean."
