"I was new to Pilates and immediately hooked after visiting Club Pilates. Such a terrific workout with great instructors and a warm and welcoming vibe."
"Great facility and workout, but very rude, greedy management. I went for the introductory class, led by the General Manager, Lisa. During, I mentioned that I had GymPass. As the we were wrapping up the session, she told the other two participants "You did great! You just need to join!" and then turned to me and said, "You just need to go away." This is an exact quote that I have been replaying in my head for the past few weeks. Since I really enjoyed reformer Pilates, I decided to take a class with a different instructor. Again, I enjoyed the workout, but the instructor was so low energy -- not in a zen way, but in a I-don't-want-to-be-here way. Okay, so two strikes... I wanted to give it one more chance, so I booked another class with a different instructor. The day before, I got a note that they had cancelled me, and the location disappeared from the GymPass app. So, it seems they were fine passively taking money from GymPass, until someone actually tried to use it? While a different scenario from the other bad reviews, it seems in line with the feedback on their exploitative business practices. Long story, short... definitely check out Club Pilates -- just NOT Strawberry Hill or South Providence."
"Good gracious, where do I start? Club Pilates Strawberry Hill is the best, great, work out community, Pilates teachers are great, the classes are amazing and you are challenging yourself, not competing with others. Here is my story… two weeks ago I could not stand on one leg at a time. This was unacceptable and occurred after getting out of shape. I had a traumatic brain injury in October ‘21 and was. just basically deconditioned, to say the least. I came in and did an intro class with a friend who begged me to come with her. Kelcey led the intro class. It was phenomenal! The next morning I felt incredible, so, I came that day and the next day and the next day. I did not take a day off until day five or six. This place is a gift from God. It has been years since I have felt this strong, and able to walk down steps without holding on and worrying. (the accident affected that). Cut to today, two weeks later. I signed up for an open class -didn’t pay two bit of attention that it was a 1.5 level up. The teacher was Pax she did a great job of making us laugh while we went through very challenging exercises. I had a goal of doing this level class by Christmas. I accidentally enrolled in it by not paying attention to what I was signing up for, but just craving the movement and stretch that has made me feel more alive than I have in years. Bonus, I made it through the 1.5 and was rather proud of my performance. All this to say once you start feeling your body, you will want to come again and again. How did I wait so long to treat my body to this!?"
"I have been practicing Pilates at Strawberry Hill for over 8 months now. I am addicted!! The instructors, front desk staff, and manager are all wonderful and very accommodating to their members. I attend classes 4-5 days a week and every instructor has their own unique teaching methods which, I greatly appreciate! Everyone is very informative, happy to see you, and super helpful. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Strawberry Hill and look forward to each and every time I have a chance to take a class :)"
"I joined about six weeks ago after years of my sister encouraging me to do Pilates because at our age (60's), if you aren't building your core strength, you are rapidly losing it. Every week, I discover new muscles and can feel a difference in my ease of movement, balance and overall body awareness. Each class is different. I never get bored. The instructors educate, motivate and seem to truly enjoy their jobs. The instructors will happily help you make adjustments to accommodate individual needs.
