"I walked into Golftec Durham as a beginner and have been working with coach Andrew Lavely weekly for several months now. Andrew combines a sharp and systematic golf mind with an outstanding ability to communicate. Each lesson he immediately recognizes the appropriate issue to work on next, clearly explains and with the assistance of the Golftec technology, demonstrates what I am doing versus what I should be doing, then works with me on just the right drill to develop a feel for the recommended change. I have yet to come away from a week where I have not felt noticeable improvement since starting with him. Andrew is also excellent at connecting the focused lessons to the bigger picture. Through his instruction, after any suboptimal swing (yes, I know they're all suboptimal), by observing impact and ball flight, I am able to immediately identify the fault and go back to the appropriate drill to rediscover the proper mechanics. Regarding Golftec more generally, I appreciate their use of technology to quantify and uncover inefficiencies in the swing. On numerous occasions, the recorded weblessons have allowed me to gain valuable insight I did not pick up at the time of the lesson by carefully relistening to Andrew's instruction. Also cool to go through old lessons and watch your swing evolution over time."
