"King Tiger has been such a positive influence on our son! Unlike so many "fight schools", they are not just a 'black belt mill', but focus on the entire student. The mixed class structure allows the higher belt students to teach the lower belts, thus improving their own skills, while the lower belt students get to watch and actively learn from the higher belts, seeing that learning through mistakes is part of the entire journey - no matter the skill level. The instructors are understanding and empathetic, and work to make sure all students get both class and individual instruction and support. Over 6 years we've watched our son go from unsure and timid to confident and helpful with other students. The instructors work hard to make each class fun, and sometimes funny, while taking the process of building a whole individual seriously. Can't recommend them strongly enough!"

"We’ve been taking our now 7-year-old to King Tiger Teakwondo since he was ~5 years old. From our first class until now we have loved every second of it. Ms Sherry, Master Chin and Master Moon are absolutely amazing, welcoming, friendly and encouraging. We have seen such a difference in our son’s confidence and strength. Not only is he learning a lot, but he is having so much fun and looks forward to class every single week. "I have searched many schools in the area and I felt the core values and different programs King Tiger South Charlotte had was by far better then any school i visited. We focus on the true art of what Tae Kwon do is. Being over 40 years old i was looking for something that would challenge my fitness level, instill focus and above all have a good time. King Tiger has more than met my expectations and i don't think i can say enough positive things about the Masters and instructors here. My 23 year old daughter has recently joined the program as well and I have to say never seen her so driven and focused being part of something physical. It is great family fun for all!"
