"If I could give this place zero stars, absolutely it would happen. This place has gone downhill since we originally started coming here. One time in particular we had gotten into a room, and there were dead cockroaches on the side corners of the room as well as a bloodstain on top of the chair. It looked like it had been used a while ago and definitely not sanitized when we brought it up to the nurse when she came into the room they didn’t seem to care and we weren’t even apologetic or offer to clean what we just had to clean wouldn’t even pick up the roach. How this acceptable especially at a pediatric facility is beyond me. We definitely stopped going to this particular one."
"Let me start off by saying I never write reviews but I just couldn’t hold my tongue on this one. My son has been sick for almost a week. I took him to the ER 2 days ago and they gave him Motrin and told us to follow up with his PCP. Fast forward to today his regular PCP is booked until next week so we make an appointment with one of their other offices. Which landed us here at KidzCare Pediatrics at Cape Fear. Where the doctor was very flippant, discriminatory, and just plain mean to my son. My son had a sore throat, was losing his voice, and had a bad cough. The doctor stated it is probably a viral infection and that was no reason why he shouldn’t be in school. He insinuated that my son just didn’t want to go to school because of the “other things he’s got going on..like his mood disorder.” He also raised his voice at my son to sit up because he was slouching. He was slouching because he doesn’t feel well. I’m not happy with this chain of doctors offices and will be looking for another pediatrician. This doctor was very unprofessional and definitely needs to work on his bedside manner."
"I do not care for this location because of issues with them never having the provider in, however, I will say that Hazel was amazing with helping me get my daughters formula prescription together. Whereas everyone else would've get back to me or would meet days go by before following up, Hazel never allowed that to happen and made me feel like a priority. It's hard to find good customer service nowadays and that b really meant a lot to me."
"The cape fear office it absolutely great. I take my grandkids there. Dr Stevens listens to them and their mother and takes in all info before deciding things. Sara the manager is a great person always helpful you can tell she really cares about the people she serves. I even witnessed her with a rude person and she handle herself with grace and professionalism. The front office is also always great to me and they try their hardest to accommodate our needs and I understand that there's a Dr shortage and I'm ok with that if these girls continue to treat my family the way they do!!!"
"First and last time here. The staff were very unprofessional and loud outside of the room. In the ten minutes the doctor was in the room, 7 were spent doing paperwork on the computer instead of actively engaging with my child which is what I’m used to with her previous provider (had to switch due to new insurance). The first thing she said when she came in the room was let’s get you out of here which I felt was the wrong mood to set. Not a very attentive provider and not a very thorough exam especially for a patient attempting to establish care at a new place."
