"Do not give a baby to a new doctor who does not understand tests and will not troubleshoot your baby as a priority. The growing stages in the baby months are essential to get right. Can you imagine all the synapses growing and making connections over movement? My ten month has not even crawled. If you can’t make a baby your priority please just send us to Duke. Btw: don’t order tests without knowing the amount of blood that would take from a baby already in the third percentile. Also, the fontanel being open should trigger a series of questions about whether it is congenital hypothyroidism (definitely runs in my family)—he did not pick up on that from the beginning and was going to wait until baby was 12 months before seeing him again. Big mistake. Pay attention doctor. One positive: the nurses are nice"
