"Dealing with the DMV is easier than dealing with these offices. Administrative staff between back office and front don't communicate at all. My last visit I was charged $150 for a well-child visit because they didn't want to run my insurance and see if it would be covered. Five phone calls and 3 weeks later still no claim filed or refund issued. Clearly they don't have the staff to cover the amount of volume they're getting. At the same appointment 3 weeks ago a woman came in behind me for a walk-in visit being told by the back office she had a walk-in appointment scheduled. The lady at the front says no there's no appointment you'll wait 2-3 hours. She didn't have to wait that long but clearly this is a regular issue as she said this was not the first time they've mixed this up. A few months ago I was having trouble and needed counsel from the doctor so I emailed on their patient portal with the information. I got a curt response telling me to make an appointment - nothing further - just make an appointment. Office staff regularly interrupt your appointments when you're meeting with the nurse or doctor for trivial things that could be handled on your way out of the office. The nurses or PAs don't introduce themselves so I have no idea who they are when they walk into the room. My personal name has never been used just "mom," maybe using actual names of parents is too much to ask. If you're looking for an office that will allow for delayed vaccinations - go somewhere else - they're not worth the headache."
"After waiting another 45 min for a wellness visit, I decided I was done (they typically leave you waiting 1 hour +). I told the front desk I would be leaving, and needed my paperwork, and told them I thought it was unacceptable to wait so long for a wellness appointment. I did not ask for a manager, but the receptionist said she wanted to bring her out. The manager was extremely rude and on a hard defense. She was not soft, or kind. You can tell she's been up against a lot of angry parents. She was absolutely unhelpful...I think if she had been more understanding and took some time with me, I could have been convinced to stay. She told me I was next (next meaning in another hour at the rate they're going), and I walked out anyway. No remediation or interest in assisting. Their office is jam packed with sick and well kids, and no one is moving. This is my reasoning: if you have to spend 1 hour or more waiting in their office, you may as well spend that time driving to a competent office. Save yourself a headache and go anywhere but here. For all the reviews saying it's all good, just get there early? I should not have to get to an office at 7 am to be seen and get decent care. That says a lot about the practice to me. See ya ✌️ you know where to send my "refusal of care letter". Consider this review my refusal to be "cared for" by you."
"We started coming here in 2017 when my oldest was a few months old. It was great back then! We absolutely loved Dr. Caban and his nurse Tasha has ALWAYS been terrific. I actually give her full credit for keeping that place afloat in Dr. C’s absence. My biggest concern is that they clearly take on WAY more patients than they could realistically handle. I’m a medical provider myself and if you want to keep a certain standard of care then it’s imperative to put a cap on how many patients you take. It’s completely unacceptable to be waiting 2 hours past your appointment time. This tells me that they just want money and know that more patients means a bigger paycheck. They operate on a walk in/urgent care basis along side of being a primary care office. My daughter was extremely sick after we had switched our pediatrician to Legacy North. I had made an appointment with Phycinity on an urgent care basis to be seen since our new pediatrician had no same day appts left. We were told that she couldn’t be seen there since we switched to Legacy. They wouldn’t even see her as an URGENT CARE visit because they were being petty that we left. They used to be only pediatrics then they somehow started taking urgent care visits THEN started taking adults for primary care so it’s really not a pediatrics office anymore. It’s just a glorified fastmed at this point. I’ve also had numerous friends who got dismissal of care letters after questioning some very questionable care from their providers. If even hint that you might want a second opinion they will send you that letter certified mail so fast it till make your head spin. Oh and we have gotten double billed. Once to tricare and once to US for PREVENTATIVE care which is fully covered under tricare. They are straight up unethical and I wouldn’t take my children there if it was the last office on Earth."
"I used Phycinity for about a year. I had an over all great experience despite many difficulties with my newborn. They do have a long wait time if you’re not there early. They encouraged breastfeeding when I need it but also supported the need to supplement for my mental health. They never made me feel pressured into any decisions and gave me accurate information to make informed decisions. We moved thus no longer using them HOWEVER my experience with them set the bar very high for my next pediatrician. Made me realize that not all doctors are cold. I appreciate not only their medical care but also showing me that my kids deserved better than an in and out appointment."
"Care started off great in 2021 with Caban. Quickly after it went downhill for visits. Wait time became longer. You will have to wait for your scheduled appointment; weight and vitals will be taken; then back to the waiting room; finally when you are called back to an exam room you will then wait AGAIN!. Absolutely no walk in availability for sick child visits. The final straw was the disgusting filth of the office. Please see attached photos. In the final visit the trash can was over flowing, large clump on long hair on the floor, and last but not lease a dead roach. If my child was not sick and needed care I would have left running."
