"Issues with the speech section staff of this location multiple times ...from the look of it the rest of the therapeutic areas are well put together and thriving at this location (spring lake)..however w the speech team here I've had to pull my children from here for the second time after giving things a second chance ,after having issues w Bethany she doesn't seem to be on board w the course of treatment plan w the parents nor does she ever have time to address parent concerns but yet seems to think she knows the children better than the parents from 30 min play therapy notes from their therapist...one of my son's who is nonverbal severely autistic was training on aac device for 6 wks she repeatedly would change the screen We'd set for him thenthe last 2 wks of trial time she switched program completely shed do this w no input from me as the parent who works w him on this device at home..then told the device company w out even consulting w me we didn't want to go forward w purchasing device after the trial period ...I spent hours getting this device introduced to his IEP and my son was progressing she was fully aware of this I emailed her repeatedly bc she wouldn't return calls the only response I got was from his therapist stating the reason she decided on her own we wouldn't be purchasing was bc she didn't feel like it was a good fit and bc her credibility was on the line ....still have not heard from Bethany til this day very unprofessional in my opinion she doesn't focus on children as individuals in my opinion it's a job to her and that's it ...like stated my son is severely nonverbal and just getting him in the office and him using 1 finger to press the area of things on the aac was very good progress an even upon being stubborn at sessions sometimes I still sent video in supporting this to his therapist.. but Bethany decided it was up to her and her only to take this device from my child which hurt his progress tremendously bc he grasped this was his talker and now its gone.....But then she had his therapist make the suggestion we get a device for my other son who is verbal and uses words.....yea my children unfortunately at this point have to switch companies for speech the first time my child was pulled from this location was when he was 2.5-3yr old an qualified for in home services yet the therapist Elizabeth would only make it to less than 50 % of his sessions bc of all her personal issues she had going on which was understandable so upon calling asking to switch therapist bc she was missing so many appts I was toldhe would go on List til one became avail and that didn't happen until now at age 5.5 so if staff was on board my child was to be getting an aac device back then but yes that's my experience and opinion on this location now my son's recieve OT from Cain rd location and it's great also the receptionist at spring lake is wonderful Ive also asked to speak w director onthese issues for a second time was told she would reach out to me 2 days ago by end of work day and I have not heard from her either. But with that being said anyone taking time reading this BEST OF LUCK to you and yours!! Update owner of the clinic did just reach out Jenn very professional explained what happened to her so she's aware Bethanys course of actions and hopefully future clients won't have similar issues"
"Agreeably the experience depends on the therapist you work with. Working with Mary Shears was a very pleasant experience. She makes it fun for the child and organizes it in appropriate portions for the patient. Very experienced, friendly and helpful."
"If I can give 0 stars I would. I took my son in for his appointment no one is wearing their mask even the people who work there. 2 days later his speech therapist calls me that she tested positive for COVID that I need to go test my son for COVID.... Don't take your kids there unless they start being safe"
"They are very flexible with your schedule and give you the best therapist that fit your child’s needs. We love coming here."
"The most wonderful setting with such kind child loving therapists. Tiffany is my sons PT and she is very thorough and terrific all around. He asks to see her and thinks he is playing during his session. He's improved so much. Love it here!"
