"We are very grateful for everyone at the clinic. The therapists were our blessing. My child improved tremendously. They’ve been working very hard with him since 2020. Everyone was amazing! We love your place!!!"
"My son has been going here for Occupational Therapy services since December of 2022. Already, he has made such amazing improvements and Ms. Taylor and ATS have really gone above and beyond to ensure that. They have truly made a difference in my child’s life and I am throughly and eternally grateful."
"i have 3 toddlers, two of which who have went to this clinic for over a year. they have had some of the best techs but the scheduling department and the directors are the worst people to deal with. they turn my daughter away who is severely medically fragile because “she’s out too much” - let me remind you my child gets hospitalized so much because of her lungs can’t handle sickness. she was born 13 weeks too soon and now suffers from lung damage. she’s not out to just be out. whenever i call to discuss the matter with “higher ups” hoping that they would help with the matters that i have, they laugh."
"Worst experience i’ve ever had with the scheduling assistant “Heather”. Due to my husbands military schedule we missed my sons first appointment we immediately called to reschedule due to unfortunate circumstances Beyond our control we were not able to make the second appointment when we tried to reschedule my autistic sons intake appointment we were told by heather that we could NOT book another appointment because we had missed two and Insurance would not cover a third to which I replied I was happy to pay out of-pocket for BOTH missed appointments AND the new appointment I was trying to make ( I had my Credit card In hand) I was then told to call back next week, next week came and when I called I was told by Katie that heather was on lunch and she would call me back later that day to no surprise she did not. Thinking perhaps Heather was irritated by me I had my husband call and was instructed to call back monday he did then we were told someone would call us thursday no one ever did so I called after the holiday weekend today wednesday june first 2022 I was told there is a new provider that my son would be assigned to and that he was put on a wait list in case there were any openings that became available when I asked how long the waitlist was I was told by heather the wait list is six months long so I asked her to schedule us for the six months out and she refused I asked why she said the referral would expire by then I asked her when the referral expired and she said she wasn’t sure my son‘s file wasn’t in front of her I then asked how she knew it would expire by the 6 months she then told me the new provider that my son was going to be assigned to was still in training and shouldn’t be more than a month out to be approved and board-certified so I asked why we couldn’t schedule the six months out in case something fell through with the New provider and he didn’t get his license or he wasn’t issued the certifications by north carolina to which she said you cannot he has already been assigned to this new provider (assigned to this new provider but with no date of time for an appointment??) then asked her if she was just refusing to schedule my son and she said YES. All of this happened on their recorded line and I REALLY hope someone listens to it. Needless to say I have called our Insurance company and ask them to give us a new referral to a different facility because autistic therapeutic services scheduling assistant Heather refused to schedule us an appointment. The experience my family had has opened my eyes to the fact that if this is the type of person autism Therapeutic Service employees then they could not care any less about my autistic son and i’m glad we saw it now before we became anymore invested or wasted any more time waiting for them to call us back or schedule with this “new provider”. ********UPDATE *********** They commented on my review and said they would reach out and they did, they left a voicemail I called back and left a message for them to call me back and I never heard from anyone again. Since I wrote this review I have herd for MANY other parents who have had the same experience. The office staff that answers the phone like HEATHER are awful! All of the parents Ive spoken with have had anything nothing but awful things to say about Autism Therapeutic Service . My experience apparently is the norm for autism Therapeutic Service and that is unacceptable! Something needs to change! from the sounds of it you need a whole new scheduling staff and better training for new staff."
"Although they have some good therapists, the system of schedules and parents support is terrible. I don't recommend this therapy center at all. We have been with them for more than two years, because we have no other center that suits our schedules. But the employees who answer the calls are insensitive and even worse liars and add that they cancel your therapy 20 minutes before or when you arrive at therapy they notify you that they do not have a therapist. It is definitely very sad to have people who have no sensitivity to the population of children with autism. I come back and repeat they have some good therapists but the system how the center works is terrible, I am very disappointed."
