Reviews
"Worst CVS that I've been to. The pharmacy won't answer the phone and the wait every time is over an hour. I changed to Walgreens."
"The pharmacist Ana is probably the rudest healthcare person that I have ever dealt with. I picked up my prescription and looked at it as I walked thru the store and realized that it wasn't the correct brand. I walked back up to the counter and explained to her that my prescription was moved to this location after they changed brand at MLK without asking and said it wasn't a big deal. It is on script that it is brand specific. I explained to her that prescription was moved to this location by my provider after verification. She was very rude and told me it wasn't her problem and maybe I should get it elsewhere. Does CVS even monitor there stores, because the reviews reflect a known problem."
"This pharmacy has been the worse experience of my life. I'm waiting more than 2 weeks for my daughter's prescription. They provide no updates, no information, can't track it, and NO ONE answers the phone. Horrible service We now have to have the doctor reissue and send to a different pharmacy. This is beyond disappointing service from CVS. Seem like most services in Chapel Hill are lacking."
"Calling this pharmacy incompetent would be giving it a compliment. From short fills for bulk pills in a larger container that need to be transferred to a secondary container (most prescriptions - these guys can't count...) where you don't receive medication you've paid for, dose specific packages with doses missing (how does that happen?), not knowing how to apply manufacturers coupons to make co-pays the amount a customer has expected, advising a medication is out of stock with no offer or comprehension that it can be ordered to help a customer who might have filled early knowing the medication may need to be ordered, statement that a medication needs to be ordered while providing no eta, then never ordering as they said they would, snotty attitudes; you name it. This location will exceed your floor for customer service expectations at every cost. I'm competent and middle aged who prepares ahead of time and tends to know how things work. I'm the person people in my circle ask how to figure things out. No matter the engagement, this location can't get your prescription properly filled. It's so bad, I've seen some of the most passive and low-key elderly customers angrily go off on those helping them at this location. For the record, those customers weren't wrong and were in the right to become so agitated. Pharmacists are taxed. No question about it. When you fill a few weeks ahead of time to assist with their problem so you're never rushing the pharmacists, doing your part to help them, and they still can't get it right and have a poor attitude, something systemic is wrong within CVS. This isn't the only CVS location in the area that is beyond incompetent. In addition, the computer HW and SW CVS uses is beyond bottom barrel likely exposing CVS to significant security vulnerabilities and data breeches, however, I digress... Pretty sure their HW doesn't have physical TPMs as it's no name HW from overseas, not Lenovo, HP, Dell, etc. which is a huge problem for anyone in the know. I'm forced to use CVS due to my insurance plan. The day that changes, I will never step foot in a CVS again. If you have a medication your life depends on, either get your affairs in order or take your business elsewhere as if your life depends on it."
"This pharmacy has serious problems with the system. Acts like refills are being done but then doesn’t refills. Tell me I’m too early but then won’t tell me is the right time. What are you doing. Can you read a computer screen. Can you treat me like a human being. Will I die without my meds."
