"The staff do not seem to care about their students. It's one thing to come late, but not even apologize for coming late and then on top of that not really doing any beneficial work during the session. I had another therapist that just had poor communication, we were suppose to meet at a specific time and I did not hear form her for a month. I would not recommend this center for students."

"The first mental health professional I had flat out emailed me to let me know she lost part of my chart and couldn’t find it. Talk about breech of confidentiality. The second mental heath professional I saw here was pretty good (which is the only reason there’s two stars instead of one) until they suggested that I get used to using my disability accommodation elsewhere before I come to campus when I asked them to accept said accommodation. It wasn’t until I got legal aid involved that I ever got an apology where they said it was a “learning curve” for them. I went back and gave it another shot after this second incident, but I found that I wasn’t really willing to talk about things I was really struggling with in therapy after that. It was hard enough going back after the first therapist, but now I don’t see myself trusting another counselor again even if they didn’t work at the counseling center. I would recommend going off campus."
