"The clinic is underfunded and overworks employees and administration didn't want people to unionize, but still many medical and front desk staff who work here are compassionate. I'm a cis woman though, so the trans folks on here would really know. However, Karen at the front desk doesn't have a necessary amount of compassion. Karen is very unfit for this job. I stopped going to the clinic because of Karen. Pharmacist- maybe Jennifer- isn't willing to look up info she doesn't know usually, so I have to look it up myself. I can't discuss pharmacy questions in depth. Piedmont Health administrators need to work on better working conditions and time with patients, and reasonable disability accommodations. Admin overcharges patients. Billing Dept. said their software regularly makes mistakes and people have to call in to correct it. Billing didn't want to pass on my message about the need for software fix. People who're on the Board become patients after so the business can claim to have Board members as patients, among other things."

"Highly recommend! Polite, professional and always punctual response from clinic staff. I actually drive farther to go to this Piedmont Health location even though the other one is closer because the staff here is so helpful and compassionate."

"My husband and I both had appointments here. We were waiting for over half an hour for each appointment, and then when we were in the actual session we were essentially rushed out the door. The doctor took very little time to address our concerns. Later on, when we got the results of our appointments, our doctor listed multiple things we told them explicitly not to, didn’t even test half of the things we asked for in our bloodwork, and didn’t send through half of the referrals we asked for. They also added in many comments about our eating habits/weight even though we told them that we were seeing a nutritionist, and everything the doctor put in went directly against our nutritionists’ advice. They also told us we would hear back about some of our questions, and it’s been two months and we still haven’t heard anything. On top of all of this, my partner and I are both transgender and our pronouns were repeatedly ignored by both doctors/nurses and the front desk staff, and both of us are listed as female in their system even though our insurance, paperwork, AND drivers licenses say male for both of us. Our doctor also uses they/them, and not a single person at this office used the correct pronouns for them any time we’ve contacted the office. Overall, for a place that states they are LGBT+ friendly, they are far from it. We’ve had bad experiences with doctors before, but this was by far the WORST experience either of us have ever had with a practice."

"Piedmont Health is a wonderful place. They genuinely care about the health and well being of their patients. The office is always clean. Wouldn't hurt for the people at the front desk to be a little friendlier, especially since their someone's first encounter once they arrive. But overall, a great place."

"Definitely some of the most kind, caring, and professional staff I have encountered anywhere, not just in a medical setting. Everyone at the reception desk is an absolute joy to be around, and I look forward to speaking with them at every visit. This is honestly the only medical office I have visited where my concerns about my medical care are treated with respect and understanding. It is truly amazing how much better the patient experience can be when you are treated as a valid and valued human being, and not just a patient number on a chart."
