"This school is such a disappointment! Although it is presented as a respected middle school, the staff at this school is far from it. This school only cares about keeping their image up, not about the actual students. What is even more ridiculous is the teacher making their students rate this school 5 stars for extra credit! Sad!"
"My child's experience in McClintock Middle has been far from pleasant. Constant bullying and no action from the school's faculty makes me regret placing my child in this school. If you are worried about your child’s safety, you should definitely think twice about sending them to this school, as the faculty lacks the ability to defend the children from bullying. I am happy to say I will be looking for a safer school my child can enroll in next year."
"If I could rate this school any lower, I definately would. Children are far from safe at this school. The adults in this building does not care for the children at all, all they do is sit in their little office, looking through Facebook. My child has been teased and bullied by this girl X for months, she has been consistently crying in mornings, begging to not go to school. When is it ever a good sign for an 11 year old to cry in the morning, begging not to attend school? To avoid these problems, I went and talked to the councilors and guess what? They replied with, "we will take care of it". That is all they say. My daughter has been reporting the sitatuion to councilor and teachers for the previous months and they do nothing at all. Last three days ago, my child was physically bullied by X and she defended herself to avoid serious injuries, which escalated into a fight with the girl X that has been bullying her. My child cannot speak correctly under pressure. When time came to tell each side stories, X made the whole fight as my child's fault because my child was "racist against black people". Now, we are not in any mean above anyone else, we are Asian refugees. I just hope the dean's race did not play any role in the decision, which she is also African American just like student X, but at the end of the day, my child, who has been consistently bullied by this girl got suspended. Adults should not jump into conclusions whenever a "racist" card is pulled. Just because a child was quick to come up with an alternative excuse to get out of trouble, it does not make it right to put down another student's explanation and take side of whatever seemed right to you at the time without considering the overall story of HOW and WHY it started."
"This school is absolutely trash, this school is not prepared for any of their activities, the teachers often are blaming children/calling children dumb. Then the bathrooms are never taken care of, they also don't care all that much about what the childrens teachers do. Also the assistant principal is very aggressive and has facade about being sweet. I would recommend you take your child to another school"
"My daughter attended this school for 2 weeks and had to be pulled out and home schooled because of a racist bully TEACHER. We went to the principal for help on this matter and again we are not the right skin color to receive help from her either. Its a shame this had to happen this day and age but if your child is scheduled to attend this school PLEASE look for other options. There are some good teachers and unfortunately they are stuck in this craphole of a school."
