"Checked in this am around 9 am because of a suspected miscarriage I waited about 4 hours before. I was even brought into the waiting room. And then I sat in there for another 2 hours before the nurse even came in. I had came to the same hospital yesterday. Complaining about the same thing was told. I would get an ultrasound and never received one. And then today I came back to the hospital with the same complaint with heavier bleeding, more bright red in color and clots.they wouldn't tell me if my baby was alive or not while looking right at the ultrasound sound after I've already waited hours. From experience, it doesn't take nothing but a ultra sound, or checking baby's heartbeat to make sure it's healthy. They decided to do extra things and extra testing instead of just checking baby's heart beat or something and telling me.im pretty sure its just them trying to make more money. Staff were rude and a nurse had even yelled at me to get out of the hospital I left the hospital without any answers to my unborn child's well being. I have had a previous miscarriage at this location. And the ultrasound didn't go any Thing like it did today. I've never heard of them refusing to tell a patient about their childwell being the last time I had an ultra sound , I was told right then and there.do not recommend this place. Go to randolph."
"Never look forward to having to go to the ER but my husband was in severe abdominal pain and had no choice. We were checked in fast and the lady was extreming kind. They took us straight back and immediately had my husband comfortable. The nurses, doctor, xray tech, everyone we came in contact with was amazing. I wouldn't change anything about our visit and appreciate the service we received."
"Went into Chatham hospital after I was asked to come back by an amazing doctor who had treated me on Saturday night. He wanted to give my leg a quick look to make sure it was doing well. I came in and the very helpful front desk person called the nurses station. They basically told me to pick a number! The waiting room was packed and I let the front desk know I was asked to comeback at this time it is just a look over. She went to the back and asked the nurse …who didn’t care and didnt even look for the doctor to ask. What a joke! This hospital has always been a laughing stock of the community and this is why …. People who don’t CARE work here! The wait wasn’t the problem I waited 8 hrs Saturday in pain with a bleeding leg! It’s the fact I was dismissed and told I should’ve came early in the morning when I was told to come at this time for a specific reason! These nurses SUCK! They don’t care about the patient and are very rude and have no compassion!"
"Waited over 8 hours before I was even seen by the doctor and when she did finally come in, she talked for just a few minutes before abruptly leaving the room to answer a call before she finished talking to me. Security lady exposed the price of my Pizza Hut order to the whole back of the hospital. Her statement was “you got $32.00for a pizza”?in a loud tone. Worst hospital to go to if it’s an emergency and your in a hurry."
"After just shy of 10 hours in the waiting room, we took my daughter home. She was in pain and on the verge of vomiting. If she was going to be hurting, she might as well be comfortable at home. What few staff we had contact with were polite and tried to be helpful. We were told she was next in line, then told there was one in front of her. Then told she was next in line again, then once again told there was one more ahead of her. Guess it’s true what they say….if you want to seen faster, come in by ambulance."
