"I love my doc Isernia..he listens..but the buildings system is crazy...I dont suspose the doctor has a personal receptionist like some places...so you call strangers handling hundreds of calls...I needed a prolea shot...in nov..here it is feb...nothing scheduled till March for a bone density test...one person said Nessary since I had one in another state...girl at desk said ..one of their staff is calling another staff member and canceled the shot.....its like one don't know what's going on in that building..and floor one isn't a part of floor 2..crazy....the guy who done a liver ultra sound was training a young girl...over half way through about 40 minutes..he said go get Tiffany...so he screwed up the tests...teaching and he didn't know how..third girl came in and helped..hes punching buttons and Tiffany asked my name ..so said oh that's hers??? who knows what or who's liver ill take meds for"

"I saw Dr James Isernia 4 times & Dr Rachel Livengood twice. I didn't appreciate Dr Isernia's unwanted hugs & bubble gum smacking , and a couple of other things that were not appropriate at all. Unfortunately I had to continue going to this office because they are the only ones in the area to prescribe the Ativan that I have been on for 11 years. My last appointment there was Dec. 14. Dr Livengood didn't bother to tell me that she was leaving the practice in January. She did not call in my prescription for the Ativan , when usually I get a 3 month supply. That medication has been very difficult to get. The pharmacy has to have the script on file to order it. When I called and spoke to her nurse , Brittany , I explained the situation. Dr Livengood REFUSES to call in the Ativan. I am having to come off of this medication entirely too fast and she knows it and DOES NOT CARE ! So if I have SEIZURES , which can definitely happen , there will be consequences for this office !! My insurance company called today , and left a message for the nurse regarding the Ativan. They don't care that this is life threatening !!! Also she would not call in my synthroid ! I don't have a thyroid thanks bro cancer ! Don't know when I will be able to get in with a new doctor somewhere else ! Also - This office is difficult to get through to, and they don't follow up with their patients , and tests that were ordered . Not very impressed , and after receiving a letter from Trial Management Associates asking if I want to be a part of an "investigational flu vaccine " clinical trial , I am ready to find a new doctor. I want a decent doctor , not solicitation to be a lab rat !!!! I am very surprised , and disappointed that Dr Eagerton heads up this clinical trial after what all we have seen with experimental vaccines over the past couple of years. Overall I would describe this office at 945 82nd Parkway to be ghetto fabulous. ** Also when you call to make an appt or leave a message you reach a scheduler who has access to your medical records, and can read prescription info , and other info as well !!! Not good ! I would not recommend Carolina Health Specialists to my worst enemy. They do not care about patients. Attitudes stink. They don't call you back. Jennifer, the office manager, is not helpful either !JENNIFER IS FULLY AWARE OF MY COMPLAINTS !"

"Dr. Isernia is far and away the best doctor I’ve ever had. I am “of a certain age” meaning that I’ve had a lot of doctors and I have a lot of things wrong with me. Dr. Isernia has ordered tests that no other doctor has ever ordered – tests that led to diagnosis that are now dealt with. My quality of life has improved under him. He is beyond thorough, even discussing with me things he noticed that I never brought up. One gets the sense that he really cares about you as a person and wants you to have the best life you can have. The visits are efficient but never rushed. He explains things well and discusses options, including working with you to keep your out-of-pocket costs down. He is very personable. I recommend him 100%. Carolina Health Specialists is also a very well-run organization with a great staff."

"Dr Koldali is very nice. Shes through and listens. Very attentive. Spends the time you need. Staff seems very nice. My appointment times have always been honored. Blood work done too very quick and efficient. Pleasant young lady my phlebotomist. Very responsive on portal. That's a bonus. Only gave 4 stars because not a fan of reception area or restroom area."

"Dr. Chad Huberty and his team is giving me excellent care and advice. I get a return correspondence or phone call within hours of my request. I am almost 72 years old with multiple health issues, Dr. Huberty listens to what I have to say, my symptoms, he cares about my opinion. If he can’t help resolve a specific issue, he finds me the correct specialist and refers me for treatment. I am receiving the best care I’ve had in my life. I truly appreciate their dedication, efficiency and compassion."
