"My sweet dog does NOT enjoy going to the vet, but every member of the staff at Animal Hospital of North Myrtle Beach made it seem like no big deal. He was treated well and welcomed back despite the challenges."
"I recently had to bring my kitty in for a sick visit. I was told I would have to wait because I was a standby patient. I did not have to wait at all for which I was really happy. Dr. Jones checked my kitty and diagnosed her. This was my second visit to Dr. Jones for two of my kitties and I really like her. She is caring, knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of NMB for your pet. The staff is very good, as well. Even the gals in the reception area were friendly and caring. They handled my kitty with lots of TLC."
"Been going here for almost 20 years… they are professional… most importantly compassionate… they really care for my babies!❤️"
"This clinic was able to pinpoint and Diagnose what another vet had missed. But it gets better… every single staff member is friendly and polite and extremely helpful. I feel so confident with the care that my dog has received in only two visits. You have a client as long as I live in Myrtle Beach. Take your fur babies here!! My dog only looks sad because he hadn’t met the doctor yet, his tail was before we left."
"DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE. I took my cat here as an emergency visit about three weeks ago because his face and eye was swollen (eye almost swollen shut) and one side of his face doubled in size. They opened his mouth looked at his teeth and said it was an abscessed tooth and I would have to come back to get the tooth removed. They gave him a steroid shot. My bill was $180 I was pleasantly surprised because it was a walk in visit pretty much. After the first visit they said I would need to come back in two weeks for a follow up visit and to get blood work done to make sure he can go under surgery. About a week and a half later I called to see if I could get the follow up visit a little earlier because the steroid shot was wearing off and his eye was starting to look bad again. They said yes come tmrw. I said perfect. Go in for blood work, another steroid shot to get him through before having the surgery because at this point they are going to have surgery for them to remove the tooth. Blood work comes back ok, another $300 later. Have a surgery appointment for august 22. I dropped him off this morning-the expected bill for a TOOTH EXTRACTION AND PAIN MEDICINES AND ORAL X-RAY IS $790. I get a call that he has woken up from anesthesia and that it’s nothing to do with his mouth and they proceeded to do a lung X-ray??? They told me it looks like he’s been hit by a car but he’s been an indoor cat for 5 years. And they can refer me to a specialist in mount pleasant. They don’t know how to fix his eye or what the cause of it is. My cat left the vet with a bill of $730 all X-rays and no medicine or solution to help his eye/face. Tonight his eye is even worse and almost swollen shut after a long day for him being put to sleep and xrayed with no help from this vet office. I would have had better luck at my last vet who I left being a customer to because they killed my dog while kenneling her for a weekend."
