"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Much to do there, not enough time to take it all in. The rooms were beautifully decorated, everything we needed was supplied in the kitchen and bath. The walk in shower was huge. We will be back."
"My family stayed at Baywatch from 12/26/22 - 12/29/22. They checked out that morning and realized soon after that a Christmas gift was left behind. They called numerous times without an answer. I was able to get through and spoke with Supervisor Sherry about the item left behind and Sherry assured me that housekeeping would call the next morning on the 30th. No one called so I called and spoke with the manager that afternoon named Nandy. Nandy also assured and promised that she would call about the status of the jersey that was left behind. I asked if anyone was in the room and maybe they picked it up. Nandy stated the room was empty so since the item hadn’t been turned it she would check the room and call back. That night I called back since Nandy never returned my call and Sherry stated they were busy but Nandy would call back. No call. I called again on the 31st and Nandy stated she spoke with housekeeping and no one turned an item in. No mention of the room was checked but she checked with the other housekeeping people and no one turned the jersey in. I asked if they kept a log of who cleaned each room if they could ask them or even question them since my family knew who cleaned the room and Nandy stated that she would not talk to them and she would let housekeeping handle it. BEWARE STAYING HERE!!! If they will steal items from guest after checkout they will steal items while you are there and management doesn’t care! You have been warned!"
"We just spent 8 days at Bay Watch in North Myrtle Beach. The rooms were very clean, the view from the balcony was beautiful, the beds were comfortable. The lazy river was a great relaxing way to enjoy being outside, all the pools were clean and comfortably warm. The beach which is right there was a joy to walk. We will be back..."
"I arrived at 1130pm after driving 4 hours on the 15th of May only to wait in line in my care for 1.5 hrs. Once inside I had to wait another hour to check in. I didnt get to my room until 2am. Once in the room it looked nothing like the picture. The microwave was dirty with splattered food and there was grease smeared on the outside of the door and counter top. The next day, I wanted to exercise my cancellation protection and was refused the ability to use it. I left and stayed elsewhere. My total bill for two nights and the cancellation protection should have been $391.01. Once home I called and explained the cancellation issue AS WELL AS I was charged an extra $174 on top of the $391.01 for the 2 nights, one of which should have been cancelled and credited. The gentleman said he couldn't do anything about it so I asked for a manager and he REFUSED to let me speak with anyone. I called the 800# for the resort booking where I made my reservations and they too could not help. They owe me for the night I cancelled (bc I had cancellation protection) AND they owe me the extra $174 they charged my card. I have had to contact my bank and have a fraudulent charge claim submitted. NEVER WILL I EVER RECOMMEND ANY PLACE BY THIS COMPANY NOR STAY IN ANY OF THEM."
"My family and I checked in over spring break. Once we were in our rooms we quickly departed for an evening of dinner and fun. We returned late and I was putting our youngest to bed. The first thing I found was some sand in his bed. I figured we were at the beach and there was bound to be a little sand everywhere but then I found HUMAN BLOOD on his pillow case. I called the front desk and the guy said you will have to call the manager in the morning. They did not offer to bring fresh pillows or anything that night. I called the manager in the morning and she said they would take care of it and clean the room. When we returned that afternoon I came in and found that they took the pillows and never replaced them. I also sat down at the table and chairs and saw where there was a pile of dirt, fuzz and grass under the bed spread on the carpet. I quickly called the front desk back and they sent 2 women to vacuum up the dirt and then they sent the asst director of housekeeping. They also said the general manager was going to contact me which never happened. Later that day my wife and I took the boys to the pool and lazy river. Once the boys got in and and started floating around the river we noticed the trash (cigarette butts, candy wrappers and other debris) floating in there with them. This place was a huge disappointment and a disgusting and filthy place to stay. We will never stay at ANY Oceana resort again and do not recommend Bay Watch to anyone!"
