"Rose’s Complaint 10/28/23 Very rarely do I post negative reviews, but sometimes, people earn the honor of a negative review. Such is the case with the Rose’s Department Store in North Myrtle Beach. We had an issue that we wanted to speak to the manager about. The manager, TOM, met us in the front of the store. This is one of the most unpleasant encounters we’ve had. TOM was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely nasty. At one point we requested the name of the regional supervisor and he refused to provide any information. After requesting the name 3-4 times, he walked away from me without saying anything. He refused to give me any information on a supervisor and finally wrote down the number for Rose’s Home Office. After several more requests, he claimed the regional supervisor was Roger Raines (sp), but refused to provide any information of how to contact this person. TOM’s totally unprofessional attitude earned him and Rose’s this negative review."

"My first job as a teenager was at Roses in Bennettsville , South Carolina in 1984 . Unfortunately 2 weeks later a tornado hit the strip mall it was located in and destroyed everything and I was in it at the time ! I haven't been in a Roses since and I went into the Army in 1985 to Germany for 4 years , then the west coast ever since . I come home to visit every 3 years or so and occasionally see a Roses , but never checked them out . This time when I was in Myrtle Beach , I had to go in and see if I could find some good deals on some beach t-shirts or souvenirs . It was like stepping back in time . Roses is similar to what K-mart was in design and products they carried . I would say a small step up from K-mart . Since it was October I guess all the larger sized Myrtle Beach T-shirts were sold . I ran across this at lots of the T-shirt shops too . I did by a couple things though . The place was clean and so was the parking lot . I would recommend you to stop in and see if you can find some good deals . They sell all kinds of stuff , snacks , house wear , clothes , decorations . So check them out ."

"I love roses and can’t tell you how disappointed I am in there service lately. For one the cashier KATHY is terrible! She is beyond rude, she has no clue what she is doing and can’t even see the register! I saw her be rude to multiple customers as there was a wait of at least ten people because she was not time efficient had to constantly put her glasses on and off to see the monitor. She couldn’t figure out how to change the cash register printer paper after it destroyed my receipt and I asked nice to reprint another and she was super rude back saying why would you need another one I can’t do that! Beware of Kathy if you go in roses."
