"Absolutely the best daycare you can send your child to. I know my kids are safe and protected with the most caring teachers treating my kids as if their own, the kind admin staff, and definitely Alli - the school director, who is always listening to us, accommodating our concerns, and welcoming us with a warm smile. Our kids have taken a huge step in their development (both physical and mental) we attribute this to the lovely hard-working staff. The arts and work they're bringing home are always very unique. they would always accommodate our concerns or children's needs. The kids always come home clean and happy. We are big cameras people but who needs a camera where you have trust? That is Primrose."
"The current director, Allie Martinez can be discriminatory and rude. She is unprofessional and the high staff turnover rate is reflective of her poor management style. Leslie Martinez, franchise owner, is MONEY hungry! Doesn't care about the kids or their education because OFTEN turn away teachers with suggestions in changes in curriculum or their classroom. If they don't value teachers' voices, they definitely won't value yours (parents). Don't send your child to a dirty, rude school."
"You won't find a better daycare/pre-school for your child than Primrose of West Cary. I only wish we found Primrose sooner! We have 2 little boys, 1 of whom has medical needs, and both of our boys loved Primrose as much as we do. The teachers, administration and staff here are amazing! They've bent over backwards to make sure the kids have the best experience possible, that all their needs are met, and that they are safe and well cared for. They are also so incredibly responsive! As the parent of a child with medical needs, I was especially impressed with the cleaning regimen and standards pre-covid not to mention all the additional safety measures and systems added since the pandemic started. The quality of the education is also great - both pre-school and pre-k curriculums and instruction. Both of my boys were well prepared for Kindergarten. In addition to the top quality of care, I always loved all the extras they threw in. They have special activities throughout the month, water-play outside in the summer, special holiday events in the winter, and even special covid-friendly parades and graduations! Plus festivals, competitions where the kids vote for each other's work, fan mail Friday (a chance for your kids to get "mail" in their classroom) and so much more! My youngest has been in Kindergarten since the Fall, and while it's been great, we truly miss Primrose, they're the best!"
"We absolutely ADORE everyone at Primrose! We enrolled our daughter in June of 2020 and have not had one complaint since being here! Like other parents, I was very hesitant to have our baby girl start any sort of childcare during a pandemic, but we were reassured when we learned of the school's procedures they followed to keep their kids and staff healthy. We feel incredibly lucky that we chose this school for our daughter. She LOVES going to school each and every day and has learned so much. We highly recommend Primrose of West Cary!"
"Last year, our child care situation changed abruptly. My little ones were previously watched by a grandparent before health complications forced us to find alternative childcare immediately. On top of the anxiety of having our little ones leave the house during a pandemic, I had major hesitations about the transition from in-home care to a daycare setting. Our priority was to find care where strict Covid protocols were followed that offered a robust educational curriculum. Primrose in West Cary had been highly-regarded in the community so we started our search here. That initial Zoom visit with the Primrose staff set the bar high. Each school that followed didn't measure up to the quality education and safety offered at Primrose. On top of academics, the values we teach our kids at home are reinforced during their school day. Primrose places a strong emphasis on character-building and kindness to others. We know our kids are getting well-rounded meals and snacks away from home. The staff and teachers feel like an extension of our family. The warmth and welcoming culture was evident with our first interaction and has been consistent throughout our time there. As the kids have transitioned up to other classrooms, there's an intentional continuity, preventing disruption in routine or development. The Primrose teachers have solid educational backgrounds and have a genuine passion for teaching. I was impressed to learn of the lengthy tenures the teachers have held at this Primrose location. And for any parents like me that struggle with the thought of leaving your children in unfamiliar territory - that won't be a concern at Primrose. Through their app, I receive several pictures, videos, and notes throughout the day. I can't always get a reliable recap from my little ones but the app removes the guess work. I know what and when meals are eaten, duration of naps, and frequent updates on potty-training attempts and successes. I thought my first day as a Primrose Parent was going to be an emotional day, but it's going to be the last day when the kids outgrow that oldest classroom that I'll have to really hold back the tears."
