"The actual L1 lab had very nice staff, receptionist, nurse and Doctor. They get 5⭐️s. But the parking lot is a 1⭐️. I was never there before, so I gave myself plenty of time to figure it out. But even then, i got the ticket,ok, but then I drove around in circles a few times trying to find a place to park. The handicapped spots are not well marked! I ended up on the 3rd level, lucky to find a spot! Walked down some dingy dirty stairs. Guessed at the building entrance for Lab 1L for my appointment. Getting out was tough. You have to wave your ticket in just the right way in front of a few different options on the machine. An older couple was on the machine next to me. They were also having trouble. I helped them a little bit and they helped me a little bit and I finally got a receipt ticket. But the older man next to me didn’t get a receipt ticket. Luckily, I needed that receipt ticket to wave in front of the machine as I was leaving to raise the arm. And even then that machine that controls the exit arm told me I needed to pay another $6 dollars after the $10 I just paid for it with my credit card! But then I waved my ticket in front of the machine again a second or third time (people waiting in line behind me) and then it raised its arm and let me go through. I don’t wanna return to this parking lot ever again. I will always ask for an alternative location to have my doctors appointments or procedures done. I do not want go back to Duke University Hospital because of the parking lot!!"
