"Great place to visit while in Southport. They offer public restrooms when many other places do not. The plentiful seating out back has beautiful views. I spotted dolphin within minutes."
"Free! Historical nautical displays of the Southport NC area. Interactive displays and gift shop. Scavenger hunt paper puzzle for kids to keep busy. The neat thing is the real functional submarine telescope that you can look through and swivel 360 degrees. It extends above the museum roof. I have never seen anything like it!"
"Pretty neat place and best of all its free. Informative and well laid out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had scavenger hunt for kids which was a nice touch. It’s nice area around to walk about as well with fishing pier and benches to talk."
