"Nice hike, easy until the approach to the falls which is steep, wet, and likely where snakes live, ready to greet you face to face on the steep slope. Stay Frosty."
"The trail needs to be cleared before most people are able to hike it, but the view is good enough to justify the hike if you're able."
"Really awesome waterfall on a difficult, hardly used trail off the palmetto trail in Table rock. Park ranger gave really good directions so trail was easy to find. I would only recommend this for experienced hikers as trail isn’t marked at all."
"Nice hike. Table rock is fun and really beautiful. The ridge from Table rock to Pinnacle has too much vegetation with thorns, so dress accordingly if you plan to visit both peak same day"
"From Table Rock trial. This is a tremendous hike, however, it is not for everyone. (That is the reason for 4 star) That being said, once you get started on this hike you will have to triumph over many many many steps. Mileage is not too difficult, just 3.5 miles one way. But the steep ascent does make it difficult. You must be extremely cautious when the ground is wet, making many of the rocks slick. Proper footwear is a must. Hiking sticks recommended, especially since it can help with the descent with your knees as well as providing stability. You are rewarded with enchanting views of the mountains. (Technically the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains) After the shelter things stay pretty level for a bit till you get to the real meat. (Or steps into Morder as some people like to call them) At Governor Rock you get a great view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You have to keep going though if you want to see two more overlooks. The cost though is another stepping ascent which can be strenuous. Follow the red blazes and you will come across the second overlook to your right. It is a bit shallow with a fairly steep rock platform so don't go too close to the edge. Get back on the red blazed path and follow it to a clearing then down to a slight right. That is where you will find the fantastic view where you can see Paris Mountain, Caesar's Head, and even Greenville city on a clear day."
