Lake Oolenoy is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located at 158 East Ellison Lane in Pickens, South Carolina, United States. The park is part of Table Rock State Park and offers visitors a chance to reconnect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors. The park is currently undergoing some renovations, with the Mountain Laurel Campground closed for site renovations until March 1, 2024. However, visitors can still enjoy the White Oaks and Mountain Laurel Campgrounds with the added convenience of Wi-Fi now available.
Visitors can also explore the park's various hiking trails, including the Pinnacle Mountain Trail, which offers spectacular views of Table Rock Mountain. Park manager Michael Trotter recommends visiting Carrick Creek Falls and wading in the pool below the falls for a fun and refreshing experience.
Table Rock State Park is known for its natural beauty and historic structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The park is a popular destination for hikers, with access to the 76-mile Foothills Trail that connects several South Carolina State Parks.
