Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

"Progressive put a random child on my insurance policy without notifying me or getting my approval and jacked my rate up $200. I had to call to get the child removed. Progressive proceeded to request the names of all the people in my household. The other person in my household has insurance through Geico, and Progressive forced them to be on my policy and charged me. This company will find any tiny detail to charge you! Beware! You WILL pay for other peoples' children and anyone in your household, even if they have insurance elsewhere!"

"If I could give this a negative review, I would. Progressive did not even ask my approval before putting a random kid on my car insurance and jacked my rate up $200. I called to take the random kid off, and the price should have went down, but now they’re charging me even more. If you want to pay for random people’s kids, go with this company."

"Horrible customer service, on hold for ever and always hung up on, they raise the rate every renewal despite I have never even been in a wreck or ticketed, etc CLEAN DRIVING RECORD BUT MH RATES CONTINUE TO CLIMB. I am so disappointed dissatisfied and unhappy as a customer with them. They don’t auto draft my account on the same date it takes 2 weeks for the payments to process it’s ridiculous and a scam seriously"

"To keep this simple, I originally got a great rate when I "switched to Progressive". With no notice, three times in the past year (bank auto deduction) they increased my rate. The only excuse was for cost of living increases. They increased a total of $23 for liability only! People there are competent which is why 2 stars rather than 1"

"Added a person who shares my address to my policy who had their own insurance. Billed me for them and refused to take them off, even when I provided proof that they had their own coverage."
