"From the outside, this store looks expensive, but inside the staff is down to earth and helpful, the wine selection is outstanding, and the prices are the best around. This store is very clean, and their system allows you to buy a card and sample reds or whites at any time. Neill, Jason and Ben are friendly, helpful and highly knowledgeable. When I first moved here, I was given advice on kinds of things, including pizza! They really know their stuff and they are excellent in answering questions if you're looking to find the perfect wine for an occasion or learn more about wine. I highly recommend the location for the staff, selection and prices."
"This Winestore.... I'm too jealous that we don't have this store near us, and the closest store is in Asheville, North Carolina. They have so many different each red with light, medium full, white with light, medium, full, and even bubbles! Plus, it's super great deals!! You won't get a Caymus for $69.99 in Tennessee. And they will give you great and helpful advice as well! I get at least six bottles of wine every time I visit. I wish they would expand the business to the Knoxville Tennessee area then I will be your super loyal customer for sure!"
"Great people, customer service, and of course wine! They always greet me immediately as I walk in and offer to give me my card for the wine tasting machines. The staff always walk around with me to show me new wines on the machines since the last time I was in. They don't just give recommendations, they explain why the wine they are recommending is a good fit for me, as well as the origin of the grapes, process used, etc. Every experience I've had in this store has been a prime example of excellent customer service, something that this town struggles with. The wine tasting machines are really cool! The wine tasting experience at the Biltmore might feel a little more "special" but this is a place you can go after work, try some new wines they have on the machines, and talk with the incredibly kind staff. MOST IMPORTANTLY: They are rarely busy, and they love to educate and help people. So do not be intimidated to walk in!"
"I love this place!! I was worried it looked from the outside that it was going to pricey, but they have prices from $6+. The BEST part is getting to sip on wines before you buy! You get a card and can use a little as $5 to try both red and white wines before you buy. A fun environment and the staff was kind and helpful."
"Wow! This is my new favorite store! Neil (sorry if I spelled this wrong!) was super helpful and knowledgeable about all the wines. I loved the tasting dispensers with rotating wines that had 1,2&3 oz pours. You can pay a few cents for each taste and get an opportunity to expand your pallet and find things you like that may surprise you! The best part is the prices! Everything was very reasonably priced with all the bottles I saw for $10-$20 grown in high quality regions. One oz pour tastings ranged from .50 cents to $1.50 depending on the wine you want to try. They don’t upcharge for tastings at all. The store is not pretentious and very approachable for the average person. Wines are organized from light to full body (red and white separated) with lots of information on featured wines so you can always learn something. I will definitely be coming back more frequently to explore the rotating wines!"
