"This was the cleanest play place I’ve ever seen! We visited with our 6 and 4 year old. They both had a great time. I feel like that is peak enjoyment age. The staff were kind and welcoming. All the equipment was clean and well maintained. There is lots of seating for adults. We definitely will be back on our next visit."

"I've recently visited 'The Play Place' located at 568 George Bishop Pkwy in Myrtle Beach, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. Billed as a fun environment for children, it proved disappointing for a few reasons that I believe potential visitors should be aware of. The venue itself is nestled inside a multi-business warehouse that also accommodates a massage parlor, insurance sales, a barber shop, and a pole dancing studio. While it's not unusual for various businesses to share a commercial space, the eclectic mix here raised a few eyebrows. The overall ambiance of the warehouse, bordering on the side of sketchy, left a lot to be desired. Once inside 'The Play Place', the actual play area intended for children is surprisingly compact. The limited space could potentially hinder the children's movement and exploration, a key element for an enjoyable play experience. Considering the area is for children to play and interact, it felt quite constrained and was not as impressive as I had hoped it would be. The cost of entry, at $16 per child aged one year and older, seems a bit steep given the size of the facility. To compound the matter, I was asked to pay in cash due to an allegedly faulty credit card machine. However, upon presenting my credit card as I didn't have cash, the transaction went through without a hitch. This raised some concerns as I observed they continued to request cash payments from subsequent customers. All these factors contribute to why I wouldn't necessarily recommend 'The Play Place' as a go-to spot for a fun outing with your children. Unless it's the only play venue available for some reason, it might be worth exploring other options in the Myrtle Beach area that could potentially offer a better value and more fulfilling play experience for your children."

"This place is somewhere to take infants, toddlers, and children! Rain or shine this is always the perfect decision. Nicole is always here and everytime I see her its a pleasure! Remembers us by name and always makes us feel welcome. Never oversaturated with kids always a good ratio. Accommodating and sincere. Will forever talk this place up!"

"Place is dirty, more then half the things are broken, and they charge for infants under a yr even though they can’t do anything, But sit there. Do not recommend you’re better off at a play scape. Guns r broken, the bike round about, netting around the play scape, most ball r chewed or popped, kid cars are all busted. Play floor looked like it was never mopped since opened, bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks and sink faucet is all busted."

"We have visited The Play place many times over the years. From meet ups to hosting Moms Club parties, They’ve always been so friendly and accommodating and our kids absolutely love it. It’s important for us as parents to remember that we set the example for our children. If you don’t follow rules, there can be consequences. We have always found it to be a safe an amazing place to go! Please go check them out!"
