"I give this place 5 stars It is very affordable going rate $75 a room. IMO Days inn here in Rockingham NC Richmond Co. feels in all areas very nice and clean . The staff here has been wonderful and the other guest seem so helpful!! This Hotel is in a good area with 5+ other surrounding hotels to choose from this place is the cheapest and allows pets that are clean an kept. Don't visit Buget hotel here We did last night cause it popped up $10 cheaper. The feeling of Instant regret hit my fam No lie that place is a real dump!!! I seen it and it's true with all types of Nasty holding it up more of a low life's pay n stay !!! So Pay the $10 and Let them keep the bugs and stink over at the budget inn on 416 broad Avu!!"
"This stay included my parents, my son, and myself. On a cross country trip we made a last minute reservation and checked in around 1am. When we arrived at the hotel the night desk girl was sitting at a table with a ton of food around her while she ate. Didn’t think anything of it at first as it just seemed like she was having her meal. Turns out that she was eating all the breakfast for the next morning’s complimentary breakfast. So the next day my parents and son were given stale toast with already opened butter packets and expired solid jelly packets. But back to the room. As we entered tired the first thing we noticed was that the heat was on full blast. It was in the 90s that night already. Again, forgivable. Then as we flopped down on the beds my parents immediately noticed that the sheets were missing on their bed. They were tired and figured a mistake had been made and just went with it. Later that morning in the light of day we started to discover the whole mess. Blood prints on the back of the shower door, used and mostly empty shampoo bottles, the beds were never cleaned but just remade with the old sheets and covers. Mine and my son’s bed that actually had the sheets had cigarette burns through the blanket and all sheets all the way to the bed, and the grossest thing was that the bed and all sheets were covered in dried unwashed pee stains. When I went to complain the morning girl at the desk was mortified and super apologetic and nice. Assured me that the managers would refund our money for everything. She explained that the night girl was fired and her last night of work was that previous night. Also I was told that nobody had stayed in the room we rented for over a month until us. Almost forgot to mention that when we called we were told that was the very last room available in the hotel that night. So the morning girl gets an A+. If I could just rate her customer service she’d get a 5 star review. Then though, I called the manager’s number she gave me to call. At this time I was annoyed and grossed out by the room but not angry because of the way we were treated by the desk girl in the morning. The manager at first offered a 15% refund. Also, I took pictures of almost everything. I think I forgot the shampoo and breakfast “spread”, and sent them to her texts and email. She then argued with me that we stayed the whole night so she wasn’t going to refund our stay. While viewing my pictures. So I repeated the list of things wrong with the room. She became extremely rude to me and began saying we should’ve requested another room if we were dissatisfied and laughed when I tried to explain that there weren’t any other rooms and again requested a full refund. She kept repeating that she would only give me a 15% refund, which I declined to accept as compensation. She then told me to call Wyndham customer service if I was so dissatisfied and hung up on me. This was one of my top two worst stays at a hotel that I’ve experienced. Disgusting and terrible managerial customer service."
"Arrived at 2 am and within 5 mins got into a clean room. $95 decent king bed and clean sheets and floors. Bathroom newly remodeled and free breakfast."
"Clean bathroom, but dirty floors. I made the mistake of walking on the bedroom floors (vinyl) and my feet/socks quickly became filthy. The bed/sheets were okay as well as the towels. I needed extra days there and when I stayed 20 minutes past check out, the office lady came to the door and yelled that I needed to come to the office immediately to pay. They had my credit card and could have simply charged it again (like they did the following day). As another person mentioned, the breakfast food was nonexistent and the lady and her daughter were sleeping on the lobby couch at approx. 7AM. The juice machine wasn't working and when I required, the grump woman directed me to an undercounter fridge for a gallon of stale OJ. If there is a next time, I'll go elsewhere and avoid the substandard "Patel Motel". The owner gives East Indians a bad reputation."
